A recent spate of attacks on electrical substations in North Carolina and other states has underscored the continued vulnerability of the nation’s electrical grid, according to experts who warn that the power system has become a prime target for right-wing extremists.
“A number of individuals and extremist groups online right now have already signaled that this is a part of their playbook.”
One of those playbooks, with a swastika and lightning bolts on the cover, published on a social media platform by a neo-Nazi group, makes their aim quite clear.
“The main thing that keeps the anti-White system going is the powergrid,” the document reads. “This is something that is easier than you think. Peppered all over the country are power distribution substations… Sitting ducks, worthy prey.”
It’s part of a White-power philosophy called “accelerationism,” which wants to destroy society and replace it with one based on their racist ideologies.
“With the power off, when the lights don’t come back on… all hell will break lose, [sic] making conditions desirable for our race to once again take back what is ours,” they write.

I don’t buy it for 1 minute. The accusers have a long history of fraudulent claims aimed toward American patriots. And a longer record of being proven wrong. They have no credibility!
If it were hacking into government databases I could then see them blaming patriots. But even in those situations it is almost always leftists.
A substation was attacked in Washington State. Rumors of right-wing fanatics, etc.
Turns out it was a couple of older druggie white guys that had the brilliant idea to damage the substation so the power to the alarm at the local store would go out so they could rob the cashier box.
I think they got something like $100. The cameras had back-up batteries so they were caught a week later.
I read that motive previously but I am very suspicious of that scenario. They hit FOUR substations to do a robbery at one store?
I suspect the same groups hitting our food processing or

I’m old enough to clearly remember when this was a main plan of Earth First!, Animal Liberation Front, and other “Green” terrorist.

Well, it looks like the govt is going to use preceived threats against power stations as a reason to go after all centerfire rifles. Notice I didn’t say just semi-autos or assault weapons, which are horrible enough on their own, (sarc), but aren’t nearly as destructive against infrastructure as the larger big game calibers. The left will determine that old Joe six-pack and his scoped 30-06 deer rifle is capable of taking out parts of the power grid. And who better to blame it on than right- wing white supremacists, survivalists, preppers, homophobes and the rest of the unwashed hillbilly MAGA types who we all know own just obscene numbers of these types of weapons. Watch for it, I’ll bet it will be the next angle in the gun control push.,
