During an appearance on this week’s broadcast of “Sunday Morning Futures,” Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) endorse his California colleague Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for the House of Representatives speakership.
According to Issa, McCarthy had “earned” the job.
“Has any progress been made with respect to some concessions or some dealmaking behind the scenes where you think, on Tuesday, he could win this vote outright?” “Sunday Morning Futures” fill-in host Jackie DeAngelis asked.

Another example of how much they hate us and want to protect their own interests.
They had 4 years to support the only President in recent history that gave ash*t about the people and they limped along.
Now, they’re about to take over and there’s ZERO indication that they’ll attempt to give the “other side” of the story concerning the events of 06Jan21.
And we for damned sure will NEVER see any of the video.
Let this sink in. Add McCarthys name then step back and look at it again.

Jim Jordan says the same. Jim supports McCarthy 100%.
The only thing I can think of to explain this is a, “Book of Secrets,” with all the dirt on every congress critter that gets passed from one Speaker designee to the next, regardless of party.
“Its his turn.”
First you have to have MORE than the First and only vote. On the Second round things will change.
Unless of course you firmly believe that doing the same thing every time and expecting different results is not insanity
The speakership is a job, not a prize for prior service. He should have it who will perform it best. Using promotions to reward past behavior is what gives us the Peter Principle.
The uniparty has spoken
And McCain earned his run at the presidency.
Gag...
And don't forget Bob Dole!
D.C. needs to be nuked during a joint session.
OK, so what will happen then?
