So, I for one can't help to laugh about this, and say who cares that he lied. After all, the House and most likely the Senate, are riddled with liars. He did not lie about his constitutional qualifications and unless he was placed under oath or was questioned officially by a federal agent for some reason, there is zero reason to even consider charges. I don’t think referencing Joe Pedro’s lies works here. They are so many and so continuous that they are taken for granted, but none of Santos’ lies reaches the level of Senator Blumenthal’s. His tale about serving in Nam was and is an ongoing insult to the 2.5 million Americans who served in country. Blumenthal’s apology was as bad as his claim.
What to do about Santos? Leave it to the House but during deliberations highlight Blumenthal and any and every Dem lie and liar.
