Former President Trump on Wednesday ripped the Supreme Court after it rejected his emergency appeal seeking to shield his tax returns from House Democrats.
The court’s order on Tuesday caps a multiyear legal battle, paving the way for the House Ways and Means Committee to receive the former president’s tax returns.
“Why would anybody be surprised that the Supreme Court has ruled against me, they always do!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “It is unprecedented to be handing over Tax Returns, & it creates terrible precedent for future Presidents. Has Joe Biden paid taxes on all of the money he made illegally from Hunter & beyond.”
Trump bucked the tradition of publicly sharing his tax returns during his 2016 presidential campaign, citing an audit, though IRS regulations do not prevent someone from releasing their returns while under audit.

It is a joke. It’s a very clear and obvious violation of his 4th Amendment protected rights.
The Legislature has no right to obtain these records. If Trump has done something unlawful there is a process for dealing with it that goes through the executive branch and involves the treasury department and the department of justice.
The scotus crap will last until they get all the want out of Trump.
Then when the time comes for the New Congress to go after the Demorats, scotus will reverse again.
I’d like to see the repub congress subpena Robert’s tax returns to see how the IRS treats SCOTUS.

As I keep posting, the House can now subpeona CJ Rpberts’ tax returns to see how the IRS audits, or doesn’t audit, the SCOTUS Chief Justice. Of course, no one would think of ever leaking those tax records to the media....
The Marxist RATS only want those tax returns for ONE REASON and ONE REASON only. So they can dox and make death threat against anyone who has had any dealings with Trump. Those Trump-hating scumbags in black robes know that and that is the only reason they also want them released.
They are claiming they are studying how the IRS audits the taxes of Presidents... obviously a subterfuge..
It seems obvious that Trump’s tax returns are going to be “leaked”.
The only question — will the Democrats leak the tax returns to the press? Or will the Supreme Court beat them to it and leak the returns first?
I’d just stall them until after January when the new House is in session. I wouldn’t care about the decision, or the law, frankly. Democrats IGNORE that kind of thing all the time.
Clinton & Obama had ordinary incomes.
Brandon’s official income was his lifelong government position. But Brandon is a multi millionaire!!
