That’s true.

...but they don’t want to win.

We the People on the other hand, do.

Joe O’Dea lost his race in Colorado by over 12 points because he campaigned against MAGA,” Trump wrote in an official statement. “Likewise, candidates who shifted their ‘messaging’ after winning big in the Primaries (Bolduc!) saw big losses in the General.”

Is there exit polling to support President Trump’s claims?

Republicans have already demonstrated they would rather lose without Trump than win with him. Bob Barr is right; the GOP is being shattered and it is delightful!

The Uniparty does not care.

Losing is winning when all you want is a cut of the loot.

Trumps voters turned out see the nearly 5 million vote margin in the popular vote. The one thing is the Republican leadership had no messaging countering the student loan giveaway or abortion. See the D+28 amongst Generation Z cause those people live with their parents and don’t really feel inflation .

But he could NOT win again if 2016 was replayed with ballot harvesting. Even Trump does not seem to have any answer for this.

This is partly true. In 2024, whomever is running for congress, senate, and President is going to need the enthusiasm that has thus far really only been captured on a wide scale by Trump in the MAGA movement.

The other part, the part that Trump is going to have to adjust to, is that the rules have changed since 2016, and MAGA needs the infrastructure and manpower of a cooperative and enthusastic national party to get over the top and win.

Both need one another, and neither is currently ready to work with the other.

Most elected republicans are just liberals anyways and don’t care about winning nor do they care about America. They need “MAGA” voters to be able to win (if they want to win). They don’t have to particularly like Trump to be “American First”, its not like Trump invented it.
Too many Republicans still think that the NeoCons are a serious political movement though. They need to move past it at this point, its a failed movement.

where President Joe Biden won in 2020 by 13 percentage points.

He only beat Trump's number by 1.

The electorate is approximately 1/3 R, 1/3 D, and 1/3 I.

The Rs can win without MAGA if they can win the Is.

The Rs can’t win the Is with MAGA.

The GOP certainly has NOTHING WORTHWHILE TO WIN if it fails to stand up for any core values other than its own graft and corruption income while in public office

“They” can’t win without MAGA. But we can’t win without “them”! Time to find a way to satisfy both sides adequately. Or get used to BOTH sides losing to Democrats.
