President Joe Biden (D) snapped at a young woman who attended a political rally that he hosted on Sunday at Sarah Lawrence College in New York for gubernatorial candidate Kathy Hochul.
“No more drilling. There is no more drilling,” Biden snapped at a young woman in the crowd. “I haven’t formed any new drilling.”
“There are at least five more years of offshore drilling,” the woman shouted back. “— in the Atlantic or the Pacific but in the Antarctic and off the gulf of New Mexico.”
“That was before I was president,” Biden responded. “We’re trying to work on that and get that done.”
Biden’s remarks come after he said late last week that he was going to be shutting down coal plants across the country amid an energy crisis.
“I was in Massachusetts about a month ago on the site of the largest old coal plant in America. Guess what? It cost them too much money,” Biden said at an event in Carlsbad, California. “No one is building new coal plants because they can’t rely on it, even if they have all the coal guaranteed for the rest of the existence of the plant. So it’s going to become a wind generation.”
“And all they’re doing is, it’s going to save them a hell of a lot of money and using the same transmission line that they transmitted the coal-fired electric on, we’re going to be shutting these plants down all across America and having wind and solar power.”
The White House walked back Biden’s remarks after he was blasted by Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), Chairman of the the Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee.
Former Trump White House senior adviser Stephen Miller responded to Biden’s remarks on Sunday evening by saying, “No oil, no coal, no shale. Pennsylvania: a vote for Fetterman is a vote to send your state into a Great Depression.”
“Biden and Democrats are hostile to oil and gas production. I am running for reelection to keep Texas #1 for oil and gas,” Texas Governor Greg Abbott tweeted. “I will protect the good paying jobs in the oil field and keep America energy independent.”
“Um, that’s a consequential gaffe,” meteorologist Ryan Maue tweeted. “I don’t think he was supposed to say that in public.”
“The mask slips,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) tweeted.
Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) tweeted, “You can’t make it up.”
“Biden still out here messaging to his lunatic base which makes up about 10% of the country,” radio host Jesse Kelly tweeted. “Genius.”
Actor James Woods tweeted, “Diesel is over $7/gallon at my corner service station. #Vote”

“Wind and solar will never replace coal and natural gas.”
You will just use wind powered sail trucks to get all of those wind turbine parts from the ports to the sight.
Then use solar power cranes to lift them into place on the towers..
Tomorrow?
There’s a Daily Mail story today saying we won’t have’s results for a month after the election.
“ We’ve got a madman in the White House. When that happens, you are supposed to bring on the Twenty-fifth Amendment.”
Then what? President Kamala? Pelosi? We must have control of the House first.
The America-hating creep fully intends to stop production of oil, gas and coal. He knows that will make the price of energy soar.
The man is a nut.
“Guess what” is Xiden’s tell he’s about to tell another gigantic lie. FJB to the end of earth and back.
“C’mon, baby! Uncle Joe’s gonna ban the oil... You can trust me ... I’ll keep my promise... Now how about just one little sniff....”
The heckler was obviously a green weenie. How could she not sound stupid?
Keep it up Joe. We need more cowbell!
“Didn’t the WH just have to walk back his statement from Sat?”
I was just thinking about that phrasing this morning. Who is the “White House”? I mean, isn’t that the president? Who are these people called the “White House” that have to constantly walk back his remarks? It seems that nobody in a position to really ask that question is asking it. If the president of the United States makes a comment, isn’t it by default the official policy? Who are the people who are over-riding him? (This is all rhetorical.)
We are missing a great opportunity to utilize the 25th Amendment. We’ve got a madman in the White House. When that happens, you are supposed to bring on the Twenty-fifth Amendment.
Are you sure heals up will be any better?
Hitler damned his efforts with his own incompetence.
They did, but diaper brain, the child fondler, said it again.
It will do more than that. It will end modern civilization and support the crazies who view humans as vermin on the planet to be eliminated.
Government is all powerful and will destroy you all ,LOL
At Midterm and 2024 Elections, Country Snaps At Demagogue: 'No More Biden! There Is No More Biden!'
I actually like decentralized solar for homes if done on the free market. But that includes allowing fossil fuel energy being free market too. The only reason my home solar system is efficient and will pay for itself by 2032 and 2033 is because the Dims are making fossil fuel energy too expensive and, in some cases, hard to come by.
Learn to Coal.
>>We’ve got a madman in the White House<<
We’ve got a team of madmen/women behind the scenes running the show in the white house.
This is crazy!
This is such a stupid argument. Yes, believe it or not, we can knock them down one at a time. Get Biden, the maniac out, then deal with Kamala afterwards. Simply continuing to do absolutely nothing is not working out so well for the country.
Unfortunately, the GOP will name Kevin McCarthy SOTH and ‘nothing’’ is what we’re going to get.
The only way the SOTH becomes prez is if both the prez and VP are removed practically simultaneously (before the prez can select a new VP).
Look at how Ford became prez. He wasn't SOTH, Carl Albert was. Yet Albert didn't become prez or VP. Nixon's VP resigned, so Nixon picked Ford as VP. Then Nixon resigned, making Ford the prez. At which point Ford selected Nelson Rockefeller as VP.
Removing Brandon from office will just allow Kamala to pick a VP as bad as she is.
