[Who would you see as Trumps VP for his second term?]

Jim Jordan, if he was smart. Jordan is a member of the Freedom Caucus, just like DeSantis was.

Wow, so the border control means nothing? The oil and gas bonanza means nothing? I could go on.

I'll bet you fiscal hawks are against any form of import tariff. Hypocrites all. YOU PEOPLE ARE JOKE.

“Only in your dreams!”

My comment has nothing to do with my feelings or dreams one way or the other. I am a Trump supporter. The comment is completely based on observation.

Exactly....
“But on negative side, as you point out Trump is more about him than any other republican. And he is certainly is no fiscal conservative. DeSantis can’t print money in Florida, yet the state budget is in surplus.”

It worked in 2016 because Hillary was a horrible choice. Trump should have won in 2020. Why he didn’t? Perhaps it was rigged. the CIA once used the dominion type equipment in elections in other countries. Sure the Beltway foggy bottoms rats in the state department / CIA / FBI know how to fix the system for who ever they want too.
.75 vote for Trump / 1.25 vote for Biden sitting in his basement.
They will do it again if he is our candidate .
We need new and younger leaders if we are going to win future elections.

I am 100% for tariffs when there is trade deficit with any country. Border control a big plus. But the border illegal invaders do not cost US economy Trillions. Foreign wars in Iraq, Afghanistan & Vietnam are why we are now paying nearly half a Trillion in interest every year on national debt. Soon that interest cost will double and triple with FED raising rates from near zero to 5% in one year.

So can anybody say what all those Trillion wasted (not to mention loss of blood) in foreign wars since WWII have benefited us?

If DeSantis does not run for President, and I don’t expect he will if Trump decides to run, then DeSantis needs to stay in Florida as governor. NO to attorney general, NO to vice president. Those are dead end positions that won’t enhance his prospects in 2028. Governor of an important state like Florida is a much higher profile position that people view as a leader, where they view attorney general and VP as lackeys. His stock will be diminished, not enhanced, by being AG or VP.

I have a selfish reason for wanting him to stay as Fl governor also. I’m in Florida and he’s been the best governor we’ve ever had.

We are already damaged. Our national debt/our GDP ratio is higher than any country except perhaps Japan. You are assuming all illegals are lazy and will feed at the welfare trough. Many will of course, but immigrants start more small businesses than native born Americans based on population size. Every category of immigrant ethnicity earns more than US born White Americans on average. You can not do that unless you are working hard. Welfare is generous but not that generous.

Having said all that, I am strongly against unvetted illegal invaders. If I was the king of United States, I would build a 100 foot high wall topped with toxic broken glass on borders and deport every illegal.

Stuff your virtue signalling BS. The ones coming over now have an average IQ of 85. The H-1B visa pushes white males out of STEM. So bugger off. I thought you were going back to India?

Nah, I am staying right here. It is so easy to compete with people like you and get their jobs. The companies only care about profits, not where you were born.

BS. The Indian mafia US branch only hires other darkies. They like that kind of caste system now don’t they. SCOTUS is taking up affirmaive action now. I hope the take those hiring pratices and the H-1B visa abuse into account.

Not true at all in my case. When I was hired in 1962, there was not a single Indian around and I was hired by a Greek boss. What I was able to accomplish in that outfit, I had a lifetime job. Everytime I found a higher paying job, my employer president would call me into his office and beg me to stay and make me an offer I could not refuse. I will never forget, one time the company was at low end of it’s cyclical business, I had found another job where I demanded $15k as sign on bonus for my own job security. They had agreed. So I gave my 2 weeks notice. The predient/owner called me into his office and told me, Bobby, I know we have not given you a raise this year because of company finances. But I am going to write you a check for $15k from my personal account because we value your contributions. Of course I stayed. Here is the owner of multi-million dollar outfit who personally recognizes my worth, so why go to a new outfit.

Duh. People move. Trump still has a residence in New York called the Trump Tower. All he has to do is fill out a form and pack his bags.

Has nothing to do with Florida, moron.

It has everything to do with the Wall St and hedge fund folks pouring millions into his campaign. That wasn’t happening because he’s running for re-election in Florida.

That kind of money comes with stipulations and IOUs.
