Kanye West continues to create outrage.
The outspoken rapper contended in a new interview that George Floyd died of the drug fentanyl, and not from the actions of the Minnesota police officer who was convicted of his murder.
“They hit him with the fentanyl. If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that,” West claimed on Sunday’s episode of the Revolt TV show “Drink Champs.”
West, 45, made the claim after saying he recently attended the premiere of “Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM,” a documentary by conservative commentator Candace Owens.

Funny that they don't try to sue Ms. Owens.
Follow the money, not the truth.
So true. One reason so any Rat candidates won’t debate. Why the media cancels different opinions
A few quotes from Alex Jones, re Sandy Hook:
“I’ve looked at it and undoubtedly there’s a cover-up, there’s actors, they’re manipulating, they’ve been caught lying, and they were pre-planning before it and rolled out with it.”
“The whole thing is a giant hoax.”
I am uncomfortable with the civil suit verdict against Jones as it hinders the free exchange of ideas. But there is a lesson to be learned here beyond that. Make sure your label your opinions as just that, opinions.
That’s something Michael Savage is good it. He’ll say something controversial, then add “just my opinion”.
“Outrage”?
Wasn’t that in the autopsy report?
F George Floyd Lifetime loser
Some “hero” Like King Rodney and Thugvon Martin
Comeuppances all
But let’s have stupid speech, false speech and then it can be debated and disproven and that person loses credibility.
Destroying someone financially (and likely he will be given jail soon for contempt of court for ‘hiding assets’) opens the door to any liberal looking at a friendly venue.
Trump could be sued for ‘election lies.’
Parents speaking out against having the breasts chopped off their teen girl could be sued for ‘emotional distress’ and anyone who heard the speech is a plaintiff.
Alex Jones should be allowed to be an idiot, make mistakes, say stupid things, and First Amendment is there to protect ALL. Otherwise, it will quickly devolve into venue shopping and punishing conservatives.
-——Theodore Dalrymple———
“In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that
the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better.
When people are forced to remain silent when they
are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is...in some small way to become
evil oneself.
One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even
destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is
intended to.”

It’s a frivolous lawsuit. Kanye should counter sue for damages.
> But let’s have stupid speech, false speech and then it can be debated and disproven and that person loses credibility. <
I agree, with one exception. Let’s say I’m a house painter, and you post comments saying that I do poor work and no one should hire me. That hurts my feelings. Too bad for me. You have a right to your own opinion.
Now let’s say you post that I’m a drunk and I steal from clients’ homes while I’m working there. Now you’re presenting something as a fact. I should be able to sue you for damages IF I can prove your posts cost me lost work (money).
That last example actually happened to a painter friend of mine. A competitor posted online that my friend was a drunk and a thief. My friend is now contemplating a lawsuit.
Jones was not given anything near a fair trial. It was a complete kangaroo court, the same kangaroo court system that has kept 500 "January 6th insurrectionists" in solitary confinement without trial or bail for almost two years.
Jones was the proof-of-concept of canceling people from social media. Now they can cancel anybody at will, including you.
Jones is the proof-of-concept of destroying political opponents through kangaroo court lawfare with judges who deny trial-by-jury and "deem" the defendant guilty.
And don't give me that "he didn't provide the requested discovery" nonsense. He turned over more documents than any discovery in history. The judge wanted him to turn over "the Google," a direct quote. What does that even mean? That idiocy was from the JUDGE, and you approve.
The jury trial was to determine the amount of the settlement. The judge told the jurors that Jones was guilty and they were just to determine how much he should pay. Then they used the discovery Jones had provided to pretend he was a billionaire based on the cash flow of his business.
They wanted it both ways. They wanted to say Jones hadn't provided discovery, then they used the discovery he provided for "evidence."
Once that get the bugs worked out of their lawfare you are on the menu, so be a good little boy and don't say anything they wouldn't like.
Some harm, when they didn't even know about it.
Once that get the bugs worked out of their lawfare you are on the menu,
> Not a big fan of free speech I see. <
Now I’m thinking you just want to argue. Nothing wrong with that. But I’d rather not participate. So in parting, please note two things:
1. In my last post to you: “I am uncomfortable with the civil suit verdict against Jones as it hinders the free exchange of ideas.”
2. Perhaps my post # 47 will help clarify my position.
I apologize.
You do realize it was a complete kangaroo court?
Five minutes of watching the judge’s shenanigans should convince you of that.
Jones was the proof-of-concept of cancellation from social media.
He is the proof-of-concept of destroying inconvenient people through kangaroo court lawfare.
“Last I heard you can’t slander or libel the dead.”
Tell that to Alex Jones
Thank you for your polite reply. This is a hot-button issue, so I understand that some folks get intense over it. I accept your apology completely.
And I do agree that the court proceedings were slanted. Unfortunately, that’s nothing new in today’s America.
As a side note, that’s why I think Trump should not testify before the January 6 committee. The committee is slanted against him. So they’ll end up charging him with either perjury or contempt of Congress.
“Slanted” is gross understatement.
You got that right.
A lawsuit? A lawsuit for what?
Agree. I read it as well. The autopsy and tox screen supports a fentanyl OD has the cause of death. The autopsy found no evidence of neck trauma. Floyd would have expired sitting in the squad car if the officers had not accommodated his request to lay on the ground.
