The late-blooming 2022 Atlantic Tropical Storm season is making up for lost time. A tropical system has developed in the Central Caribbean Sea. This storm system is forecast to threaten continental U.S. interests next week. While the tropical wave passed south of a key geographic area known as Hebert's Box #1, it will very likely pass through Hebert's Box #2. These boxes are useful as predictors of hurricanes that will strike South Florida. For more information about Hebert's Boxes, see Hebert Box. See graphic below which illustrated the Hebert's Boxes.

Go away creep.
You're a stain on a wonderful thread.
GO!!!
Your nastiness is duly noted. Enough already.
My map search function shows Pine Island to be north of Tampa and Hudson. Is there a second Pine Island in the vicinity of Ft. Myers? If not he should be fine as the winds will be a lot less as will the storm surge.
heh...another one....
Enough of your trolling, knock it off.
Only warning you will get
My husband and his brother and sister are in the Rotonda area now...sheltering in the toilet stall of the master bedroom hopefully, as it’s the most interior room.
He said he had to abandon his storm vehicle.
I know the Rotonda area—have played golf there. Frightening situation for them and for you. Prayers continue for everyone in the path of the storm.

Good grief. I recall a thread from the other day: “What part of Florida will be affected?” Apparently only the part under that white cloud.
My SIL in Lake Wales has reported some power outages in Winter Haven and a tornado in Frostproof.
You’ll see Pine Island below Ft. Myers
Watching the live video: those guys should get outta there before they get hit by flying debris.
Wow and things are just getting started you know what that means.disaster.
Grab some chocolate. Stay safe. Check in when you can. Winds getting seriously gusty now. Power continues to flicker here.
sad commentary.
