To me, the one thing that I've taken away from all of the Trump investigations is that because he's been such a high-profile man for his entire life, he seems to have run his real estate empire with the highest regard for business ethics (except for maybe his CFO who plead guilty to hiding personal income).
So why would a man who has shown high regard for following the regulations in a highly regulated industry make THIS be the thing he cheats on?

I agree, and the appraisals are out of his hands. He may
not have even seen them, he’s so far removed from it.
The bottom line is, if the funds were there to do what he
wanted, I doubt he even looked at the appraisals in depth.
I may be wrong. He may have wanted to be sure he agreed
with them, so I may be wrong.
Then again, one of his sons may have been the agent on
these, not he himself. Ya just don’t know.
But the Leftists will swallow the swill to the last drop.

This is where the problems for this case rest. Unless there were misrepresentations on NY government documents, the only “plaintiffs” with standing to sue would be the banks and other financial outfits that dealt with Trump concerning loans. They are not, as far as I can tell, a plaintiff in this suit. They have not claimed, as part of this suit, to have been defrauded, and they could not since they were all paid in full.
