It happened to Baghdad Bob, who insisted there were no U.S. tanks in Baghdad in March 2003, and will happen to General Dave, Mark Toth and Jonathan Sweet. Seven months into the Russian “Special Military Operation,” Putin and his Generals have committed only a small fraction of their military forces to the conflict. They seem content to destroy Ukrainian units and equipment with artillery, missiles and mortars and force NATO to keep supplying Ukraine so that it can send its troops, armed with new equipment, to the front to be destroyed.

Let me reiterate one very important point–the so-called intelligence on Russian casualties in terms of personnel and equipment, is being provided solely by the Ukrainians. The United States has not taken any steps to independently verify the Ukrainian “intelligence.” That is a recipe for disappointment once the truth comes out that Ukraine is guilty of exaggerating.
Horrors! Never mind that Ukrainian military is killing troops that surrender.
Not surrendering worked out so well for the Imperial Japanese Army. Guess we’ll have to ship more flame throwers to Ukraine…

On the other hand, the Ukes shell their comrade POW’s captured by the Russkies - presumably to keep them from talking, as punishment for being captured, etc. Did it twice in last month. Killed something like 50-60 of their buddies.
Russia has never been known for its gentle treatment of troops. Next will be MG squads behind the line of advancing troops with orders to shoot anyone who does not advance.
To escape a looting charge, looting Orc must turn over the significant part of the loot to his commanding officer.
If the troop joined Wager Group from a prison, they were told to sever and then their record would be cleaned up. Desert, surrender, flee the front and “we will kill you”.
