I was watching a video this morning of a Ukie soldier who was shot in the legs by an Aidar Battalion nazi for not wanting to fight anymore on the front lines. He survived and has some interesting things to say about his experience.

There is a HUGE difference between a deserter and someone who surrenders. But, you ever served in anyone’s military, so that fact is beyond your ken.

Propagandist clown. This was an article published back in 2015 after a Ukraine parliamentary vote that passed a ‘motion to amend’ existing law into resolution. It is DRAFT LAW that was made available to download on Radas website January 15, 2015 under then current president Petro Poroshenko.

From the Verkhovna Rada Website January 15, 2015 :

“The Verkhovna Rada adopted as a basis the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine on strengthening responsibility of military men, granting commanders additional rights, and assigning duties during the special period”

“Draft Law” Registered under Bill# 1762, Information Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat Published on 15 January 2015, at 17:33

If you bothered reading the article and downloaded the text of the ‘proposed’ amendment, you would realize that it was a “MOTION” that passed for consideration of proposed draft law.

The amendment is refereed to as ‘law’ in its draft ‘bill’ form, as it moves along the required parliamentary motions/readings until it is refined and has passes final vote and then BECOMES actual law when the president signs it and the signed law is Published in its entirety on Verkhovna Rada, which it never was but only the download draft was made available.

Bills are typically considered by the Verkhovna Rada(Ukraine Parliament) following the procedure of three readings(or motions to pass any refinements/changes); the President of Ukraine must sign the final passed ‘bill’(law) before it can be officially enacted/enforced... none of which happened with this specific proposal that has been paraphrased out of context by some knucklehead Newsweek journalist dramatizing the passed resolution with the misleading headline “Allowing Military to Shoot Deserters.”

Simply put... bill# 1762 final draft was never adopted and passed into law.

Try doing a little objective research before driveling this garbage onto FR.
