Poll Update Proves There's Been a Shift in Pennsylvania's Senate Race

Of all the key Senate races to watch, and there certainly are some battleground, the Pennsylvania race to replace retiring Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) may truly be the one to watch. For how likely it supposedly has been that Democrat John Fetterman would win, it turns out a shift in polls shows the momentum may not be on his side, but rather that of his Republican opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz.

It's already been nearly a month since the Trafalgar Group poll was released showing Fetterman's lead against Dr. Oz at just under 5 percentage points. His lead has now shrunk to being less than 2 percentage points.

This most recent poll has Fetterman leading with 47.7 percent, compared to Dr. Oz's 45.9 percent. There's also far fewer undecided respondents this time. While 4.6 percent said they were unsure, that number is now at 2.4 percent. The amount of respondents who say they would vote for another candidate has tripled from 0.5 percent to 1.7 percent this month. As Interactive Polls pointed out in highlighting the polls, Oz has had a 3.1 percentage point shift.

The poll was conducted September 13-15, with 1,078 likely general election voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.9 percent, which means Fetterman's lead is tellingly within that margin of error.

has the butthead Tooomey done ANYthing to help keep the seat Repub?

It's probably too early to know for sure, campaign season has jist barely started but he has done the whole endorsing thing with Oz.

PA has a rather complex path to both Oz and Mastriano winning in November, the strategy hinges in part on them not being too cozy until later in the race. There are going to be a lot of ticket splitters for Oz and Shapiro, and a fair number of Mastriano voters who are going to leave their senate line open or write someone else in. Both candidates have to max out their core voters and push that turnout.

Yeah...now just add +10% to the poll for the Dem when accounting for Philadelphia’s inevitable 250% of registered voters turnout

Modern Philadelphia is noted for its corruption and vote production machine, but not much else.

>> I have a bad feeling about Oz and Vance. Not necessarily that they will lose, but that they will succumb to the swamp and equivocate on issues to keep from drowning in it. <<

I had that feeling in the primary, that's why I opposed both of 'em in the primary, no matter how loudly Trump promoted them and the AlwaysTrumpers blindly accepted whatever he said about them.

That time is past now. The choice now is either them, or a Marxist DemonRAT.

This is a likely voter poll. If you want to know how the race is going, you need to use the living voter poll, which is very close to the likely voter poll. To calculate the actually outcome, to need to add 6% to the Democrat total to account for the dead voters. Fetterman is still well ahead.

I don’t think Fetterman can run out the clock before November. Oz has nearly caught up to him already. Oz has all the momentum.

While that name may seem fitting, I would suggest he consider using another name instead.

On the other hand, in that photo you posted, I still believe it looks like he has two golf-ball-sized lumps there in his neck, and I'm still thinking he might have sneezed too hard, or something, then said "Ooops!", so maybe the new name he should take is this one.

The more voters hear about Shrek the less they like him. He will be the top line on the ballot and pull down the whole rodent ticket.

There is a special prize for anyone that can name a single issue the Democrat/communists support that voters support.

Crickets.

To put a monkey-wrench in fraud attempts just HOLD back ballot boxes to be counted until most democrat boxes are turned in.

If they don’t know how many ballots need to be stuffed - they make mistakes... too many or too few can call attention to the fraud or allow a Republican win. Not saying they’re cheating, but if they were this trick messes ‘em up.
