Growing Evidence Against a Republican Wave
NYTimes ^ | 08/24/2022 | Nate Cohn

Posted on 08/25/2022 9:01:21 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

At the beginning of this year’s midterm campaign, analysts and political operatives had every reason to expect a strong Republican showing this November. President Biden’s approval rating was in the low 40s, and the president’s party has a long history of struggling in midterm elections.

But as the start of the general election campaign nears, it’s becoming increasingly hard to find any concrete signs of Republican strength.

Tuesday’s strong Democratic showing in a special congressional election in New York’s 19th District is only the latest example. On paper, this classic battleground district in the Hudson Valley and Catskills is exactly where the Republicans would be expected to flip a seat in a so-called wave election. But the Democrat Pat Ryan prevailed over a strong Republican nominee, Marc Molinaro, by around two percentage points, outperforming Mr. Biden’s narrow win in the district two years ago.

This is called “push news”, which is basically propaganda to mold people’s opinions and beliefs.

Military Humiliations in Afghanistan.
Diplomatic Humiliations everywhere, especially from the oil producing countries that told us to pound salt.

A lot of voters just do what they think others are doing.

So phony stories in the media followed by panel discussions on TV.

Herd instinct.

Usually pain will interrupt that and reverse it, such as taxes too high and higher costs of gas and everything else.

This is just the narrative for another steal in 2022. Nothing was done about 2020, so that’s where we are.

Proof is the way no one is allowed to even ask a question about the rigged election. All stomp the questioner. "Disproven" "Debunked" "most thoroughly investigated and honest election" "Trump trying to overthrow the certified election."

Protesting far too much. If truly honest they would welcome full questioning and investigation, not having local Soros types tell each other in public "nothing to see here."

Right after the election, Gov. Whitmer in MI ordered all voting machines to be erased. Evidence gone. Excuse: Law says machines have to be ready in time for any off year or other election coming up. The next week? Can't be late. BS

Cohn is such an autoflaming dweeb. The only reason he even has a job is Bald Pate Nate flaked out after his 3-year contract with The Slimes.

Picking NY-19 as some sort of bellwether is bs, he even admits the donk ran to Biden's numbers.

Here Pinhead says,

"But strength among high-turnout white voters can get a party pretty far in low-turnout midterm elections, which tend to have a relatively whiter electorate."

13 paragraphs later, Pinhead contradicts that premise entirely.

"For good measure, Washington has universal vote-by-mail, which tends to keep the turnout pretty high. It’s more like the typical midterm electorate than some of the recent special elections."

I mean, what do you do with that? *spit*

Good stuff.

Independents and Undecided Voters: “Huh?”

We have to get the truth out with ads and speeches. Dems get free day and night propaganda from the People’s Progressive News Media on TV and internet news.

Not familiar enough with this district to say much, but if the special election went to the D by a larger margin than Biden won it in 2020... That does beg the question why.

Was the R candidate weak? Was the D candidate particularly strong? What did the turnout look like? Certainly this does appear to be a situation where there should be a GOP gain, but just because their wasn’t doesn’t mean that there isn’t a wave coming...

Anyone from this district or more familiar want to chime in on this race?

And another thing. Democrats do this pre-Labor Day GOP suppression schtick every mid-term, because the MSM 'adults' are at Fire Island doing vacuum hose impersonations.

2010, 2014, 2018. They got curb-stomped in 2 of those. Make it 3 out of 4 this year.

Most women are pro infanticide.

Most women do not like Trump or his candidates.

Why? Because the social pressure is to great.

The GOP will have some gains, but not as much as hoped. Now, if we have rolling blackouts and food shortages by November that is a different story

In NY, the D’s have declared all-out war against the R’s.

I know many R’s who have gladly fled the state.

All the considerable state business contracts go the D supporters. Taxes and regulations, hitting the small business owners worst, have continued to grow.

I’m sure that even since 2020, it has gotten much worse. So comparisons to 2020 won’t mean much.

Demonrats committed wholesale, in your face, massive voter fraud, in 2020 and stole the most important election of our time.
There were no consequences for their actions.
Why do we think they won’t do it again?

The NYT’s may be right as vote fraud is going to be off the charts in this election. They know they can get away with it for sure now.
