Trudeau rejects exporting Canadian natural gas to Europe

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Canada will not be shipping natural gas to Europe to address the continent’s energy crisis.

“Canada is a major oil and gas producer in the world,” said Trudeau at a Monday press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

“But because of our commitment to fight climate change, we are working very, very hard to decarbonize and develop other sources of energy that we can rely on and we can share with the world.”

Trudeau said Russia’s invasion of Ukraine had two impacts on the world’s energy supply.

The first impact was it made it imperative for Canada’s allies to reduce their reliance on Russian oil and gas.

The second impact was the invasion confirmed the world needs to accelerate ending its dependency on oil and gas.

Trudeau said Canada will “do what we can to contribute to the global supply of energy by increasing our capacities in the short term.”

He said Canada will need to have more conversations to determine if it would be feasible to export natural gas.

“In the middle term and long term, Canada can and will position itself to be a key supplier of energy to the world in a net zero economy,” he said.

Energy rationing started in Germany on July 8 as its energy crisis affected its hot water taps.

Canada and Germany did sign a deal for Canada to export hydrogen to the European country by 2025.

Hamburg warned its residents warm water would available at certain times of the day in an emergency, but not at other times because of natural gas shortages.

Residents in German state Saxony were told by their housing association hot showers would be restricted to 4 a.m. to 8 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. every day.

He would rather starve Alberta into destruction than do anything for the province.

Albertans are Jewish in his mind.

If the gas had been in Quebec, it would be going to Europe.
He would also build all the pipelines needed, with standing orders to use deadly force for the military for any protestors or natives that get in the way.

It’s because he wants to destroy the West that he is doing what he is doing.

Ah, yes. Always follow the money. Too bad voters can’t seem to figure out that they are being fooled.

When do Canadians reject Trudeau?

Right after Americans reject the Democrat party.

They remind me of children or teenagers like the PM of Finland. There are no more serious leaders in western countries. Ever since the election of Bill Clinton, it's all about who is the “coolest”.

Yep and the billionaires that fund them aren't especially bright either, they just like the "sound" of these ludicrous solutions like green energy. What is troubling is that we once had thoughtful smart corporate leaders and now even they have gone woke. Basically, there are no adults left in the room. And when the crap hits the fan from all this wasteful spending there will be no conceivable way to fix our balance sheet.

He can’t prevent private companies from shipping whatever oil or natural gas they want.

They just can’t get it to the coast through a pipelines, because the federal government is in charge of inter-provincial borders and any international borders.

He’s said no to any pipelines going to the coast lines.

As long as he can the Golden Triangle of Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal as well as Vancouver, we can’t reject this evil troll of a human being.

Toronto by itself as 20% of all seats in Canada.

The rest of Canada is held hostage to four cities.

If we ever get Trump or DeSantis into the White House with a solid conservative majority in both houses of Congress (wishful thinking, I know), we should liberate Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba from Ottawa. Set them up as a separate republic with free trade with the U.S.

Try and get it so it is long-standing policy of automatic approval if Alberta ever applies for statehood.

This green madness is out of control. Conservatives need to start running as the anti-green parties.

I think the Little Bitch is attempting pay back for being publicly called out in the EU Parliament for being a tyrant while he was visiting the EU, in response to his treatment of the Canadian truckers.

This upcoming heating season is going to be one for the books all across the Northern Hemisphere.

Thanks to Brandon, our Propane for the season DOUBLED in price. We normally buy $800, which gets us through Fall & Winter, and the same amount this year was $1,600.00!

People ARE going to be freezing to death, or at least very, VERY uncomfortable.

FJB! FJT!
