The FBI raid on Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence on Monday was likely sparked by new information from an 'informant' and a breakdown in cooperation between the agency and former president, a former agent told DailyMail.com.
Retired FBI Special Agent in Charge Michael Tabman, who served the agency for 24 years, said a raid of this level of sensitivity would need to be approved by Attorney General Merrick Garland.
'I think somebody gave them information indicating that these documents are there,' Tabman said, adding two hypothetical 'insider' revelations: 'You have not been told the truth about their existence. You're not getting them unless you come get them.'
'I think there was inside information – call it an informant if you want,' he told DailyMail.com. 'I believe either someone told them something or some other information was stumbled upon, which was kind of conclusive in their minds that they had to go now to get that or they're not getting it.'

Does anyone think it is odd that Dick Cheney made his statement about Trump being the most horrible President in history the day or so before this happened? Me thinks little Liz told her Daddy what was going to happen.

I don’t know the ins and outs of law in the US. I did however, hear several conservative talking heads state that, per the Constitution of the US, it is the President, and the President alone, who decides what documents are ‘classified’’. If that is the case, PDJT has done nothing wrong. This is all just a muck raking adventure by the Deep State to make him unelectable in ‘24.

They knew he had just installed a new safe and brought a safe cracker top open it. That requires insider knowledge.
It was a very clever plot to smoke out a traitor among Trump’s inner circle.
Trump laid a trap and told just one person that there was sensitive classified information in his safe at Mar-a-Lago.
That person ratted out to the FBI, the FBI raided his safe, but found nothing.
But now Trump knows who the rat is...

Documents may still have classified markings on them but what if they have been declassified? Maybe ratting out the rat and exposing FBI, DOJ and the judge who signed off on the warrant has connections to Epstein.
The “informant” probably stole it from the White House.
I think its just as likely Trump figured out their game and set them up if they come up empty Trump is the victim....wouldn’t that be grand....lol you cant be as successful in the business world as he is and not be able to smell a rat
