Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo called on the Department of Justice to explain itself following a raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club.
Trump announced that the FBI was raiding the Palm Beach, Florida location on Monday, and with Republicans claiming it was a weaponization of the DOJ. Now the Democratic Cuomo is saying the Justice Department has to provide information to show that this is not the case.
"DOJ must immediately explain the reason for its raid & it must be more than a search for inconsequential archives or it will be viewed as a political tactic and undermine any future credible investigation & legitimacy of January 6 investigations.

But Cuomo was a known perv, who therefore lived under the control of others, with the lawfare sword of Damocles hanging over his head - which of course is eventually what did him in.

The raid is absolutely consistent with, and is part and parcel, of the Stalinist show trial being conducted by congress.
And while the press was praising Cuomo to the gills during the early days of COVID, they knew everything about him, but kept it quiet.
Trying to tell the doj that they overplayed their hand, and need to back fill, or their J6 gambit is in peril.
That assumes it was ever anything other than communist theater to begin with.
This guy obviously knows that the FBI could execute a legitimate raid on his properties and work locations ever day for years. Political cover is the only thing that ever keeps it from happening.
So a Rat is more “outraged” than any GOPe Senator. Pathetic! Where is “Rule of Law” Mitt on this? Murkowski? These people all make me sick!

Too late. Theyve once again fallen for the bait.
It presents an interesting strategy - if Team Trump could deliver a consistent message that the purpose of the raid was to find evidence he incided Jan. 6 and they come up empty, that might help defuse it.

I guess Andy is worried he’s next now that he’s on the outs.
Perhaps he realizes it could boomerang on Democrats in general. A major line has been crossed, and people can see it.
KInda makes me think he knew about the raid and was an informant for the FBI...to insure that President Trump was in NYC at the time of the raid.
