Yes, I believe we have crossed the Rubicon but the U.S. has also crossed the Styx. The Rubicon was crossed sometime long ago. The old U.S. did not raid former president’s houses to intimidate political opponents. When necessary there have always been other means of maintaining order. Maybe we crossed the Rubicon when they killed Kennedy?
I’ll wager that we have more federal police in the form of all members of the the federal constabulary, armed or not, per capita than the Nazis ever did. None of them are friends of freedom or liberty. They are only there as enforcers of whatever the deep state directs them to. They have fealty to the deep state only for reasons of money, power, false security and it gets their rocks off.

No, it is NOT disrespectful. It is a known and recognized signal of distress. It is akin to SOS.
