Two teenagers attempted to rob and carjack the wrong family. The incident was caught on video footage available below.
An armed Texas dad shot and injured two 16-year-olds who allegedly crept up behind the vehicles as the family was arriving at their home in Houston.
The teenagers attempted to open the car’s rear door where two infants were seated — both only 1 year old. The mother was seated in front.
The father fired several rounds and hit both suspects. His wife drove off in an attempt to get away.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the father feared for the safety of his family. Watch the clip below:
Both suspects are said to be stable and in fair condition.

As I said, the world would have called him a monster, but other victims might have called him blessed. These perpetrators will in all probability do this again and someone will have this conversation again until somebody dies.
I would rather it be them than someone with a family to protect. So, I agree with the idea of more range time, especially as considering “one shot, one ....”!

With so many illegal aliens there is a small chance they were Hispanics, but since this occurred in Houston where so many of the New Orleans refugees went to live after Katrina, I too would assume Amish. If it turned out to be illegals, I wouldn’t be too surprised.

California Governor Gavin Newsom filed the necessary documents for the Extradition of the Father and Wife to California, where they will be imprisoned for Possession of a Gun in the presence of Children, and Kidnapping Children Interacting With Minority Persons.
I think everyone is second guessing dear old Dad here. He did an outstanding job here - he was READY for just such an occurrence in every sense of the word. That alone is a rarity.

I know people with CHLs who don't have their guns on them at all times and who probably are not expecting trouble and would not be able to get to their gun if they needed to. The dad in this story did alright.

I’d be less worried about the family of the perps suing and more about the family/friends of the perps attempting to exact revenge.

A little sarcasm there; attackers/family sue regardless and there are lawyers who take the cases.
