The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) responded on Monday to a much-criticized comment by first lady Jill Biden calling the Latino community “as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio,” saying that the remark was culturally inappropriate.
“We are not tacos,” wrote the NAHJ in a statement criticizing Biden.
“NAHJ encourages Dr. Biden and her speech writing team to take the time in the future to better understand the complexities of our people and communities,” the group added.
Biden made the remark earlier Monday at the 2022 UnidosUS Annual Conference held in Texas, where she spoke on the Hispanic “Quest for Equity.”

Makes you wonder if Doctor Jill even knows what a taco is. She may want to brush up on her espanol. She made herself look like a fool with her big mouth.
“Quest for Equity”? Really? Hispanics need Biden eat Alia to get Equity? Let me clue you in: Hispanics are doing just fine. Go to any Construction site and look. Who is doing the work? Same for Landscaping. You’ll see a couple of Latino carpenters or landscapers drive by in a beat up pick-up truck. The next year, they’ve got a newer model truck in pretty good shape. Before you know it they pull up to Lowe’s or Home Depot in a brand new, $80,000 monster pick up truck. They don’t need to suck the teats of government largess. Meanwhile, the people sitting on the stoop, who are living on the dole, are going no where. They have been groomed to be wards of the state whose only function is to vote like Pavlovians every two years to keep their overlords in power. This will not end well.
Jill delivers a speech even dumber than the average Slow Joe teleprompter reading. That takes some doing. Did she also tell them her favorite snack is naCKos with Whack-A-Moleee?
The press doesn’t want to report on the descriptive adjective Hunter has for Dr. Jill but now would be the appropriate time to mention Hunter calls her a C U Next Tuesday.
