Neither. Highland Park is where very wealthy, predominately white liberals live. Plenty of 1 to 2 million dollar homes, and condos for $500,000. 84% white, less than 1% black, very low crime, 61% voted for Joe Biden in 2020.

I wonder how they have any description of the shooter at all. If he was on a rooftop, as reported, he would have likely had fairly good cover. Perhaps someone in another building who was higher than street level could see him.
Indeed it does feel like that. While the coup started in earnest on Jan 20, 2017, it arguably began on May 20, 2011.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Sunday told CBS’ Margaret Brennan that the country is facing a “heightened threat environment,” noting both safety concerns for Supreme Court justices and recent demonstrations by white supremacist groups.
The Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade on June 24 has galvanized groups on both sides of the abortion rights debate, with some people protesting outside justices’ homes.
Mayorkas said on “Face the Nation”: “We are very mindful that the Supreme Court’s decision in reversing and overturning Roe v. Wade has really heightened the threat environment, and we have deployed resources to ensure the safety and security of the Supreme Court and the justices” including other staff members.
