Indeed it does feel like that. While the coup started in earnest on Jan 20, 2017, it arguably began on May 20, 2011.

The real coup was Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009 when ALL of our elected and appointed abrogated the Constitution by swearing in the ineligible Kenyan from Indonesia.
