New Poll: Dem John Fetterman leads Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania Senate race despite poor Biden approval
Fox News ^ | 6/15/2022 | Brandon Gillespie

A new poll released Wednesday showed Pennsylvania's Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman with a lead over Republican nominee Mehmet Oz in the race to be the state's next U.S. senator.

The poll, conducted June 10-13 by Suffolk University, also showed Pennsylvania voters overwhelmingly disapproved of President Biden's job performance, while only 15% rated the state of the U.S. economy as "good."

Fetterman and Oz are running to succeed retiring GOP Sen. Pat Toomey in the key general election battleground state. The race is one of a handful across the country that will likely determine if the Republicans win back the Senate majority in November's midterms.

According to the poll, 46% of LIKELY PENNSYLVANIA VOTERS said they would SUPPORT FETTERMAN to represent the state in the Senate, while 37% said they would vote for Oz. Thirteen percent of respondents said they were undecided, while the rest said they would support other candidates.

Fetterman, who spent his primary night in a hospital bed following a stroke, easily defeated his Democratic challengers, while Oz, who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump, squeaked past Republican rival Dave McCormick.

Biden's approval rating was sharply underwater in the key swing state that could also determine the presidency following the 2024 election.

I think many of us are as concerned about election fraud as you are, but don’t want to avoid voting. Sad to see someone such as yourself not even vote anymore, but it’s your choice.

Trump endorsing Oz was beyond stupid. He clearly doesn’t know PA.

Well, that’s because he’s the only other choice.
Other parties are useless.

Sure thing, keep believing Fox, our good friends.

If things look bad for run of the mill Democrat/communists NOW in June - imagine how bad things will be for actual communists like fetterperson in November!

Trump won Pennsylvania by 400k votes before our victory was stolen away. In 2020 the rodents had a recognizable edge in registration. Now that is gone and they have lost Hispanic support, record low Black support and Joey Ice Cream the face of the rodent party is underwater in Pennsylvania by huge numbers fetterperson beats Oz? Go away.

At this stage of the race, this poll is likely accurate. The Dem primary was not as fractured as the Republican one. 46% may be a ceiling for Fetterman.

Dr. Oz needs to get on the air pronto with fluffy, soft ads to build up positive name ID - he currently has sky-high negatives including among the Republican base. Now is the time to do that to shore up the base and at least make more people open to voting for him.

I don’t know if there is a problem recruiting good conservative candidates

No, the problem is that "conservatives" can't beat radical leftists.

Grow a legitimate American right wing party, or surrender.

Carla Sands ran against him in the primary & she spoke at his event in Camp Hill on Wednesday. That’s a start, but the Kathy Barnette voters won’t be easy to win over after those ads against her.

A saw and video about this poll. It was sloppily done and skews at least 10 points left.
That being said, I don’t know how Oz activates the Trump base or has enough an appeal to tiresome upper middle class White women to compensate.

That primary hurt Oz’s chances. Whether that’s a temporary setback or not remains to be seen.

Not the best choice for PA but the better choice of the 2 remaining candidates.

That was one outrageous smear campaign - some people here even participated and refused to retract even when proven false - saying she supported BLM, etc. Absolute falsehoods.

“We’re going to lose that seat in the Senate.”

We lost is when our current RINO was elected.

That is an excellent strategy chart for future elections in where to target anti election fraud actions.

Harrisburg (PA) needs a tactical nuke on the legislature, exec and judiciary, when all are in full session, to clean out the leftist/RINO sewer. They don’t care what we vote for; they do what they want for their own gain.
