"It's over. Zelenskyy has done enough damage. "

Agreed. Zelensky can end this today if he wants to. But he won't. Biden/Nato won't stand for that.

This article (same paper, also today)

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2022/05/25/battle-donbas-shows-russia-has-finally-got-act-together

talks about Russian successes; perhaps this is the first time we see it in British press.. but then Telegraph cares about its reputation more than say DailyMail.

(wish it were not paywalled :( )

Your orc buddies have moved their exhausted troops from the Kharkiv area to the Popasna area and are now under the command of the Wagner Group. They brought all their artillery with them and now are intent on killing as many helpless civilians as possible, as you cheer them on. Way to Go!

last main escape route for civilians

The intent isn't to trap civilians, it's to trap the elements of the UA in the cauldron.

Severodonetsk, although a quarter the size of Mariopol, is being touted as the next Azovstal if the Russian encircle and start a siege.

Isn’t Donbas supposed to be pro-Russia? Why would they bomb a pro-Russian enclave?

Maybe it’s not as pro-Russia as we’ve been told?

Could it be (gasp!) the Russians are lying again?

You know, like they lied about Katyn, KAL007, complying with bio weapons treaties, being involved with terrorist groups in Europe in the 70s and 80s….

Providing arms to the Ukraine will prolong the war, increase the suffering and the likelihood of a world nuclear war.

You don’t usually bomb the hell out of territory you’ve conquered. Doesn’t sound anywhere near over.

This is the part of Ukraine that Russia really wants. For its corridor to the Black Sea ports. So what does scumbag Putin do? He demolishes these towns and cities with artillery. Killing, maiming and so on.

Many of these routed civilians were pro-Russia a few months ago. But not anymore.

For people who are wondering why the best, most experienced, troops in Ukraine’s military are in the far east of their country, and have been before the war, the reason was to apply their ‘Final Solution’ to the Donbas problem.

In fact, they had stepped up the shelling in advance for an assault on the Russian areas, just before Russia started its Special Military Operation.

It's the Ukrainian government has been bombarding Donbas for the last eight years.

“It’s over. Zelenskyy has done enough damage.”

If that’s the case then why does the headline clearly say:

“Russia bombards more than 40 Donbas towns”

Does Zelensky own and operate Russia? I thought that was your homohero Putin?
