New York has the the most draconian gun control laws and yet they didn't stop that freak from killing people in a supermarket. Then again, Wisconsin has strict traffic laws, and they didn't prevent that freak from plowing into the Waukesha Christmas parade.

If they want to do a correlation, then the Left closing mental hospitals increased violence and antisocial behavior. We don't need gun control. We need crazy control, institutions where the crazies can be confined with their coloring books.

It’s the “Sullivan Law”. They didn’t want the Irish to have guns. Also, the filthy politicians could selectively issue permits to their gangster allies and/or high profile bribe payers.

The right is absolute, so it really shouldn't be able to be expanded.

What the SCOTUS thought about gun rights in 1857..Now you can see why the Dred Scott decision did not consider blacks to be citizens.

“It would give to persons of the negro race, who are recognized as citizens in any one state of the Union, the right to enter every other state, whenever they pleased.... and it would give them full liberty of speech in public and in private upon all subjects upon which its own citizens might meet; to hold public meetings upon political affairs, and to KEEP AND CARRY ARMS wherever they went.”

Gun violence there has doubled in recent years, from their historic lows in the years before the pandemic.

Made sure they didn't write that those years were during the Trump presidency.

I haven't looked at the stats, but my perception is that the increase in gun violence is in big Democrat-run cities.

Ah yes… a CPL

“ A Closing Protection Letter, commonly called a CPL (or in some states an Insured Closing Letter “ICL”), is an agreement from a title insurance company designed to protect the lender against issues that might arise from non-compliance with lender written closing instructions, fraud or negligence on the part of the ..”

They can’t “EXPAND IT”.. what they can do is remove UNCONSTITUTIONAL RESTRICTIONS THAT WERE NEVER ALLOWED...

The right to keep and bear arms is intrinsic... the court can’t “expand it” only recognize it.

Don’t hold your breath.

There is no “Conservative Majority” in the Supreme Court.

There are two conservatives: Alito and Thomas.

There are three wishy-washy Deep State Establishment Elite Republican wing of the Uniparty.
and Four hard core leftists.

We actually have a left leaning Supreme Court on all but the more frivolous legal matters. On the less important things, the three Establishmentarians sometimes feel free to rule on the conservative side, but rarely do they do so on anything really important..

“Why isn’t it good enough to say, ‘I live in a violent area, and I want to be able to defend myself’?” Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh asked.

Exactly right. The gun-grabbers would insist that you prove a threat before you're "allowed" to carry for self-defense. It's like saying you will be "allowed" to have a fire extinguisher only when your neighbor's house is on fire, and therefore threatens to burn your house down as well.

"How the Supreme Court could soon drastically expand restore the right to carry guns"

There! Fixed it.

Although the Supreme Court may restore state actor abridgment of 2nd Amendment protections for example, career federal lawmakers don't seem to be doing their 14th Amendment duty to make laws to discourage state actors from abridging such protections over and over again.

Excerpted from the 14th Amendment...

Insights welcome.

Patriots are also reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed candidates.

Again, insights welcome.

Remember when the post wrote scare headlines about the Supreme Court “drastically expanding” the “rights” to an abortion?

We’ve GOT to be armed!

If Roe v. Wade is overturned, we’ll ALL need protection from the rabid Leftist Females rioting because they can no longer easily kill their offspring! ;)

Whatever the SCOTUS decides, who really thinks NY will change their restrictive gun laws and/or obey the SCOTUS?

After all, if two communist presidents have chosen to ignore SCOTUS rulings against their agendas, why shouldn’t the state do the same?

We have a FOID card requirement. That needs to go.

I live about two miles from IL (as the crow flies). The absurdity of FOID is that I, a Missouri resident, have more freedom to buy a rifle or ammo in IL than an IL resident. Why should you have to apply and pay for something to exercise a Constitutional right?
