Can anyone explain to me why ANY gun law is constitutional?

“The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”

Is there some alternate definition of “not” I am not aware of?

And BTW, why are the democrats able to constantly hijack the arguments when it comes to this? “Mass shootings happen because of guns” Where are the Republicans saying “Mass shootings happen because people cannot defend themselves. 2nd amendment unconstitutional infringement in fact gets people killed” which is the damn truth.
