The now-former head of the Biden administration’s abortive disinformation board said in an interview Wednesday that she received death threats almost every day during her three weeks on the job.
Nina Jankowicz made the claim to MSNBC “All In” host Chris Hayes hours after she announced her resignation following the Department of Homeland Security’s decision to “pause” the Disinformation Governance Board.
“I have maybe had one or two days I didn’t report a violent threat,” she said. “Something like, ‘We’re coming for you and your family’, ‘You and your family should be sent to Russia to be killed’, [they] encouraged me to commit suicide.”
The board was criticized almost from the moment of its creation last month by conservatives, libertarians and even some liberals, who compared it to the Ministry of Truth from George Orwell’s novel “1984.”

That said, if we have a free and fair press in this country you don't need a Ministry of Truth. Its the job of the press to present information to the public. Since the press is now one giant Operation Mockingbird, we have no free and fair press.

Her claim is simply a ruse to garner sympathy and support for govenrment going after free,speech using the excuse that the very people that they are going after are violent and need to be reigned in.
It is more gaslighting by the left. More disinformation by the left who apparently,think,that they are the only ones allowed to peddle disinformation.
They tried to stifle free speech, and they got caught and exposed. Our founding fathers fought and died to protect free speech, and now,the current faux admin thinks it has the right to take that right away. This “disinformation committee was the boldest attempt,yet to turn us into North korea. . Thankfully the gop stood up strong enough against it that the left backed down. The left view free speech as dangerous- our Founding fathers viewed it as essential to a free society, and revered it so much that they risked imprisonment and death to stand up for it.

I know she worked awhile for the ironically named “National Democratic Institute” or some similar name. It is a nonprofit, supposedly nonpartisan foundation jointly funded by we the taxpayers (State Department) and the Open Society Foundation (i.e., Soros) and at least one of its efforts was interfering in the last few Ukraine elections.
It’s funny how criticism is equivalent to threat. Our “news” media is not our friend.
