Pennsylvania Senate candidate Kathy Barnette's campaign said she was at the Jan. 6, 2021 protest in Washington, D.C., to "demand election accountability," but didn't break the law, after photos of her from that day surfaced on the eve of the state's primary election.
"Kathy was in DC to support President Trump and demand election accountability," a Barnette campaign spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "Any assertion that she participated in or supported the destruction of property is intentionally false."
NBC News Monday morning published photos that appear to show Barnette marching in D.C. on Jan. 6 near members of "Proud Boys," an extreme right-wing group that played a prominent role in the Capitol attack.
Barnette's campaign further denied that she has any connection to the Proud Boys and that "Americans deserve transparency to restore faith in our system" of elections."
There is no evidence that Barnette entered the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 or broke any laws.

Anyone out there that thinks Dr Oz would be a good Senator, look who is pulling out all the dirty tricks and last second attach surprises to help him: the media, the democrats, and the GOP bosses. A triumvirate of scum and villainy that I really loathe, all of them. Forget about Trump’s endorsement, he’s made plenty of mistakes. Oz is another Romney or even worse waiting to happen.
And Dr Oz says he has not watched 2000Mules. He also would not answer David Brody whan he asked if the 2020 election had been stolen. He’s not MAGA.

Yeah, I just heard Baris say say that on Bannon’s Warroom Battleground show.
He said it could go either way, but that if he had to guess, Trump’s endorsement would put Oz over the top.
I think MAGA voters are independent thinkers - everyone is assuming that Mastriano is pulling ahead because of Trump’s endorsement - but I think he s winning because he has the balls to talk about the stolen election.
And in the senate race, it is Barnette who is the one with balls.
It’s just a gut feeling - I could be wrong.
There is no way Barnette can win the general election. Her Tweets will do her in. We cannot afford to lose this seat. The suburbs won’t vote for her because they have enough sense to realize she’ll have a target on her back for her Tweets alone. She’s a flake. I predict her support is going to drop like a rock.
The people on this forum who thinks she’s a viable candidate in the general election are living on another planet. She should have been vetted months ago. The only reason she’s gotten any traction is because she threw out that story about her mother being raped. That was shock and awe at the same time the Supreme Court abortion story leaked. Grotesque and exploitative in the extreme but it got her the attention she craved.
