Pennsylvania Senate candidate Kathy Barnette's campaign said she was at the Jan. 6, 2021 protest in Washington, D.C., to "demand election accountability," but didn't break the law, after photos of her from that day surfaced on the eve of the state's primary election.
"Kathy was in DC to support President Trump and demand election accountability," a Barnette campaign spokesperson said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "Any assertion that she participated in or supported the destruction of property is intentionally false."
NBC News Monday morning published photos that appear to show Barnette marching in D.C. on Jan. 6 near members of "Proud Boys," an extreme right-wing group that played a prominent role in the Capitol attack.
Barnette's campaign further denied that she has any connection to the Proud Boys and that "Americans deserve transparency to restore faith in our system" of elections."
There is no evidence that Barnette entered the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 or broke any laws.

Oz could help Fetterman with his next stroke ๐
A lot can happen in six years. It’s easy to say you will vote out the Democrat in six years. But what if the Republican nominee six years from now doesn’t meet with your approval?
You are right. Brett Baier is a communist POS!
Why are all these white people attacking a black female, qualified candidate?!
how much early vote is already in the can for Oz? That might make a big difference if Barnette’s support is all off late surge.
A good question, and one we should ask repeatedly between now and November should Kathy win tomorrow.
“If the race is close between Oz and Fetterman then I will vote democrat for the first time in my life”
You might want to re-think that. Are you OK with Schumer and the dems controlling the Senate if, late in Biden’s term, a conservative SCOTUS Justice goes room temp? We can despise McConnell all we want, but remember, it was he - equipped with the GOP majority - who kept that POS Merrick Garland away from the SCOTUS.
Exactly. That’s who I will vote for tomorrow.
Not sure. I don’t think much, but not sure. Emerson or someone mentioned this and I didn’t think it was much for Oz. I thought I read this. Maybe I’m wrong.
They really hate her. The charges are always, “Here’s how she violated the P.C religion,” or “Here’s where she violates our morality narrative.”
I don’t know the lady, but these other guys are clowns. Future Romney’s and Cornyn’s. Not like I’m voting in Pa. I’m not a Democrat so can’t have mine trucked in.
This should help her, honestly. Most PA Republicans think that the 2020 election was stolen. Good for Kathy for showing up and representing!
McCormick is Bushie trash. Oz is just celeb fluff.
Kathy is much more of a normal person.
I’ll be voting for Oz tomorrow but will be great supporting Kathy if she wins tomorrow.
I just want to win in November.
It will help her in my mind, no doubt about it.
Somewhat ironic that her opponents complain that she protested on Jan 6.
I’d be considerably more optimistic if every voter had ONE paper ballot to put those check marks on.
Also hoping that the ‘plantation corners’ of the state, at least in the case of KB, surprise the hell out of all the ‘experts’ . . .
The problem with Emerson is not their sample size, its how they find the sample. Like most mediocre pollsters, they tend to take short cuts to get to their sample and overlook some very important segments. It’s easier to find urban voter than to find rural voters. It’s must harder to find the reluctant respondent and Emerson doesn’t seem to me to do the extra work that it takes to get a valid response.

Her stock price continues to climb.
Just cinched my vote. If she was there to support President Trump and election integrity then she’s my kind of gal.
I agree. That’s why I tend to favor Susq over Emerson, in general.
Susq makes very good models and knows how to weight samples. They are one of the best.
We will know more tomorrow.
