I am so glad I stuck with it when I was struggling with learning how with my firstborn.

I talked to a woman who was part of LeLeche League and she was tremendous.

1. Causing shortages of baby formula.

2. Radically pro-abortion.

3. Anti-Russian sanctions that cause ultra-high inflation and fuel and food shortages in the USA.

4. I’m sure I’m leaving out a lot.

Conclusion: biden and his cohorts want to radically lower the population of the USA, among other countries!!!!

This is all truly an EVIL plot!!!!

Form a car caravan to the TX border; ask the illegals to give American women formula for their babies because our government has taken ours to give to them. Let the illegals see our hungry, crying babies.

I am not saying this with any intention of being a wisea$$, but in the days before there was any baby formula to be had, new mothers who couldn’t breast feed their babies hired wet nurses........women who had recently given birth and had enough milk to feed more than one baby.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wet_nurse

I think the La Leche League might be able to help out some of these women who are in dire straits.

The problem is that a tradition of breast feeding doesn’t exist in America any longer. More women feed formula than breast feed by far. In this particular case, since women immediately begin feeding formula, their milk dries up quickly with few alternatives.

This is truly becoming a disaster, and it may get a whole lot worse before it gets better.

This should NOT be happening in America.

Breastfeeding, assuming the mother is not malnourished is the best food for infants for essential nutrients and immunities.

That said, for working mom’s using formula that already have a 3 month old, I think they’re milk has dried up.

For those gals and their babies there’s 3 months before solids minimum and that’s a long time without eating.

Why is anyone depending on the white house for personal consumer goods? This sounds like a good time for some folks to get a food handlers permit and start mixing up some formula.

Yea I think we all understand there are reasons why some women can’t. This is not referring to those who can not. (Vs will not)

I worked. And I pumped. And I nursed for 7 months.. I integrated at 8. So working and nursing /using breast milk can be done.

“Since when is baby formula a president’s responsibility? This is a fake problem.”

total bullshit ...

the shortage was caused solely by an incompetent and slothful FDA that dementia joe is in charge of ... FDA shut down baby formula plants because two babies died, and as it turns out did NOT die from contaminated baby formula ... in the mean time, the FDA has been refusing to reopen the plants ...

this has been going on for MONTHS ... if Trump was in charge, he would have ordered the FDA to inspect, rectify, certify and reopen those plants in a couple of weeks ...

I get what you’re saying, and I don’t disagree.

It just feels like a misdirect, like making a cat chase a laser dot.

That, and I suppose I’m old, but people didn’t use to use formula, there was no formula. Generations were born and raised without formula. Again, a fake crisis.

And, of course, I read as I’m sure all of you did that they are getting ready to bring a new patented plant-based formula onto the market, backed by all the usual suspects. Create the crisis, then move the public down the chute toward the pre-planned solution.

Then there is one more thing, which is Fox itself. Again, I may be just a cranky old man (you kids get off my lawn!!) but I always notice the following. CNN/ABC/NBC pounds the drum of the corporate left’s talking points of the day. Fox pounds the drum denying those points, or blaming those points on the Democrats, but in either case... whichever news source you use, you are still talking about what the corporate left wants to talk about. Fox is just pounding the same drum from the other side. But thats just me.

I get what you're saying. Trump would have no interest in keeping the plant off line. So you have to ask yourself, what is this regime's interest in shutting down this plant?

And at another level, it reminds me of Obama getting involved in the whole issue of restrooms in North Carolina. Since when does a president get involved with bathrooms? But of course, he had a larger and more nefarious motive.

I think we'll find that this *fake* crisis is being driven by a corrupt motive.

Not only our government but also our entire medical establishment has convinced the public that it is unsafe to make their own baby formula. But like much of what they say, that is a complete lie, driven by money and a lust for control. Commercial baby formula existed but was not in near universal use before the 1960s. Most of you oldsters out there developed just wine without it. Otherwise healthy, normal babies are going to do just fine witn a carfully prepared homemade version. This is all very silly.

Yes, I realize that once a woman has dried off that getting started again is not really that successful. I understand that it can be done, but not easily.

That said, EVERY woman giving birth from here on out really needs to be encouraged as strongly as possible to breastfeed and if it’s their first time, needs to be hooked up with an experienced breastfeeding coach.

Even though it’s natural, doesn’t mean there isn’t a learning curve. And the best part is, the moms do not need to worry about not having food for their babies.

“I think we’ll find that this *fake* crisis is being driven by a corrupt motive.”

Hanlon’s razor: “never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”

there’s no monetary motive for corruption here ... zero ... and politically this a 100% loser ... it’s nothing more than a consequence of appointing incompetent ideological hacks to run the FedGov based purely on their skin color or LGBQWERTness ...

Re: The problem is that a tradition of breast feeding doesn’t exist in America any longer.

Agreed. You ae so right!!! But dire necessity (i.e.no formula available) may require that the tradition of breast feeding be revived. In what appears to be turning into a life-or-death situation for infants, new mothers might soon not have many other options left.

To repeat what you said, this most certainly should NOT be happening in America.

"...we’re subject constantly to the drum beat of discouraging mothers from even trying..."

Because a woman who breast feeds her child cannot be controlled by means of denying access to manufactured formula.

Attributing this to stupidity instead of the obviously apparent malice is actually defending the left/DS.

Hanlon’s Razor may have worked for a more moral age.

These days, I would actually reverse it and say to never attribute to stupidity that which is easily explained by malice.

We are living in evil times.
