I am not saying this with any intention of being a wisea$$, but in the days before there was any baby formula to be had, new mothers who couldn’t breast feed their babies hired wet nurses........women who had recently given birth and had enough milk to feed more than one baby.

The problem is that a tradition of breast feeding doesn’t exist in America any longer. More women feed formula than breast feed by far. In this particular case, since women immediately begin feeding formula, their milk dries up quickly with few alternatives.

This is truly becoming a disaster, and it may get a whole lot worse before it gets better.

This should NOT be happening in America.
