Friday on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson opened his program by criticizing President Joe Biden’s response to the baby formula shortage plaguing the country.
Carlson shared with viewers statistics showing stores around the country with no supply and the White House’s response of indifference and scorn

when fda is dragging their feet in re-opening abbott factory
when fda does not allow import of euro formula cuz of labeling issues
when fedgov is the largest purchaser of baby formula
So foolish. For people who are so consumed by show over substance, this would be a perfect opportunity it’s. Order that plant reopened and Joe shows up for the reopening. Issue waivers for import of European formula and send over some c-150’s for a symbolic start to the opening of a lifeline. The optics would be perfect and help with the administration’s dismal record. Yet… they just don’t and Psaki blows off the issue of hungry babies with her doctor remark. It’s incredible how profoundly stupid these people are.
...well, how about when the DemoCommie run FDA shuts down the 40% plant for a bogus charge in FEBRUARY!! AND does nothing to help replace the lost production. Wise up to the Cloward-Piven driven chaos to control your food with rationing. Coming to a leftwing state near you... ymmv ...
50% evaporated milk and 50% water. Pass it around.
“Since when is baby formula a president’s responsibility?”
When his idiot policies caused it in the first place.

You mean the same FDA that says an experimental mRNA drug which has *officially* killed over 10,000 Americans is safe and effective?
Gee, I wonder why I am skeptical of it?
Of course he doesn’t want to fix the problem, because he *created* the problem. He ordered the FDA to shut down the largest baby food manufacturer, until further notice, alleging some bacterial contamination in a single lot of food, which was quickly fixed.
“President is head of Fed.gov, which basically sets the price through massive USDA welfare purchases, controls the amounts of production, and tightly regulates the suppliers through the FDA.”
His employees shut down that factory and new the implications of that act. Leadership would have reported that up and made the top aware. After giving Abbott a chance to fix the problems, there are mechanisms for the government to take control and get the problems fixed. A real Democrat leader could have prevented this. Truman!
What has happened was entirely foreseeable and preventable, no “mind reading” needed, unless Brandon was thinking about reading Trump’s mind.
Very good points.
What a crazy coincidence!

Tucker’s right. Time to seize the means of production.
THE FDA has closed down a large facility in Michigan that has NOT found any contamination.
Biden could have ordered it opened a week ago.
The Demonicrat puppetmasters of Flatlinejoe want the infant formula crisis to continue as part of their plan for an ultimate takeover of an economically collapsed United States by martial law and the cancellation of elections.
Re your comment about how “profoundly stupid” the people in Xiden’s administration are.
They are NOT stupid but profoundly EVIL!
He actually said he didn’t respond sooner because he can’t read minds.
Major news outlets were reporting on the shortage for at least a month. In addition, the administration knew a major plant had shut down. They also knew their agency was diverting supplies to the border and Ukraine.
Just training ‘em to suckle at the government teat.
Operation Enfamil. /grin
Unless there’s medical reasons as to not being able to nurse, I can’t even comprehend not nursing. First, there is The bond. As far as nutrition, It’s far superior. Incomparable. And it’s so convenient. No warming bottles, or mixing formula etc. Yes, they need to pump to feed the baby If she works. But, the benefits outweigh the inconvenience. Especially in times like now with shortages. And the milk is free.
Excellent! Love the Babylon Bee!
