With two weeks to go before the hotly contested Pennsylvania Republican Primary, a new poll shows that race is now a statistical 3-way tie between Dr. Mehmet Oz, Kathy Barnette, and Dave McCormick.

According to the new Trafalgar Group poll, Trump endorsed Oz was at 24.5 percent, Barnette was at 23.2 percent and McCormick was at 21.6 percent in the race to be the nominee for the seat of retiring GOP Senator Pat Toomey.
The survey was conducted between May 6 and May 8. The poll consisted of 1080 likely 2022 GOP primary voters, had a response rate of 1.44 percent and a margin of error of 2.99 percent.
Pundits theorized that Barnette is surging due to her recent debate performance and Oz was falling due to his heavy negatives with Republican voters. During the debate last Wednesday, Barnette spoke about her mother, who was only 11-years-old when she was raped by a man 10 years her senior. Barnette was the result of that rape, and her gratitude to her mother for carrying her and giving her life was clear.
"Whether this was a leak or whether this was a tactical operation we will soon figure out," she said in response to a question about the recent, unprecedented leak of a draft majority opinion from the Supreme Court that could overturn Roe v. Wade.
"One thing is clear, I am so very grateful that our nation is now having a very important conversation, and that is the most important conversation, that is about life. I am the byproduct of a rape," she said.
"My mother was 11-years-old when I was conceived. My father was 21. I was not just a lump of cells. As you can see, I'm still not just a lump of cells. My life has value. And that is one of the reasons why it was so very disturbing when I saw Mehmet Oz running for this particular race." Barnette said she had seen Oz, on "numerous occasions," including on podcast The Breakfast Club, where in 2019 he said that six weeks into a woman's pregnancy, a baby's heart is just "a cell" with "little electrical changes." Oz is a surgeon who has performed operations on infants.

"And the other thing is this whole thing about heart beating," Oz said at the time. "I mean, they're electrical changes at six weeks, but the heart's not beating … If you were to say, starting when we can hear the heart, like when the heart's really doing something, that'd be different. That's not six weeks, though."
Barnette asked Oz if he had changed his position on that. Oz did not say whether he had or had not changed his view but said, "One of the toughest endorsements you could ever get is from your mother-in-law. My mother-in-law is an ordained minister. She wrote a lot of the pro-life literature in Montgomery County where we live, and she certainly understands that I'm pro-life."
"As a heart surgeon I've operated on small children few days old and witnessed the majesty of their hearts pounding blood even though it's ill because I'm operating not to those bodies. I would never think of harming that child or even nine months earlier because life starts at conception," Oz said.

In her closing statements, Barnette said "I am you Pennsylvania and like you I believe this is the greatest country that has ever existed, but like you, I believe our country is in trouble. I believe that America that allowed me to claw my way out of dire poverty is about to come to a close."
"This time you do not have to hold your nose to vote for the lesser of two evils. I am in a statistical tie for first place, so voting for me is not throwing your vote away."

"Listen, go to my Facebook page by Kathy Barnett for Senate and you will see exactly what I'm doing today that I will amp up tomorrow after this race. You will see me in rooms full of black people changing their voter registration from Democrat to Republican, you will see me downtown and Chinatown. They are mine. You will see people ushering me in front of a roomful of Amish people with them introducing me as someone with their values."
"Not only do I have a grasp on our own base, but I can go into every nook and cranny and take the votes that we need in order to really be better than in the general election. So, let's go do this." Barnette received a massive round of applause after the remarks.
She ain’t black.
Another MTG or Boebert. OZ will be ANOTHER Romney or McConnell
If Fetterman (or Lamb) had to run against Barnette, does that mean that by their own standards, tehy’re against women and minorities?
RIDICULOUS. MCCORMACK IS THE RINO CHOICE. ROVE BACKS HIM
TRUMP DID NOT LEARN HIS LESSON.
Dr Oz, is a carpet bagger and an opportunist, his “base” is literally women who watched his show, and have a thing for “celebrity”... that’s it.
He’s no conservative. He’s advocated guns are a health care crisis... advocated for children choosing their genders and all sorts of other insane things over the years.
And yes he WAS indeed BOOED when introduced by Trump at his Rally earlier this week just like predicted he would be, this man is a dud.
As someone whose lived in PA since 1986, I can tell you, he’s just another play the role then do what you want once elected... I personally will not vote for this man, either in the primary or the general. I’ve held my nose too many times to put idiots like this in the Senate for PA, only to have them show their true colors when push comes to shove... I’m done, I won’t do it again, and I am not alone. Specter, Santorum, Toomey... enough is enough... No more.
Trump is not God. He is mortal like everyone else and I treat him like a mortal. When he speaks, I listen and then make up my own mind. Oz was not a good endorsement. No one agrees with anyone 100% of the time.
Trump has made some very bad endorsements and personnel choices. Dr. (Don’t Look Behind the Curtain) Oz is one of them.
McCormic is just a standard GOPe candidate, boring as hell as well. IF Oz or McCormick are the nominee, don’t be surprised if the D’s win this seat... and if they should win, that means anyone would have one with an R beside their name and its just a matter of time before they stab you in the back.
I Trust neither of them as far as I could throw them... and I won’t vote for either of them in November... let the Dems take the seat if need be and fight to get a good Candidate to replace them... I won’t put up with another decade or two of GOPe hacks and RINOs.. the PA GOP needs to learn a lesson and they won’t as long as they keep pushing and present us with these types of candidates and we just blindly hold our noses and pull the lever... I won’t do it anymore..
Fought too hard over last 5 or 6 years to expose and get these RINOs out of the Senate, I won’t be part of putting another one in it.
I think there are some good people she can campaign with across the state. Judy Ward, If Doug wins she can campaign with him. Maybe Seth Grove. Frank Ryan (not reunning) , Russ Diamond.
The biggest problem for Oz, is not that he’s an Islamist, not that he has current Turkish citizenship, not that he’s a stealth RINO. It’s none of those things.
His biggest problem is that he’s NOT A PENNSYLVANIAN!
Sheesh, who in the GOP thought it would be a good idea to get someone from New Jersey to run for senate in Pennsylvania?
Pennsylvania is not New York, where they readily vote for celebrity carpetbaggers (like New York did for Hillary Clinton).
Excluding Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (The T-section) is a state closer in values to those folks in Alabama, or Kentucky. They are not impressed with celebrity status.
GOOD !!
Black, female, the product of a rape. Everythign the left hates. (Literally.)
YOU DIDN’T LEARN YOUR LESSON.
Trump knows Dr. Oz personally. Oz will govern as an American First Conservative. Oz can win the general.
Trump isn’t going for another Rick Santorum who looks good on a spreadsheet but cannot win and may stab him in the back if he does win.
Trump needs to switch endorsements, his fixation with celebrities is annoying.
Oz is on the wrong side of too many issues, and he will backstab us.
Tree Choppers in my yard last week. Aspludth. They get the big contracts at peco.
