Vladimir Putin appeared to walk with a limp and sat with a blanket over his lap during Victory Day commemorations in Moscow today, raising fresh doubts over his health.

at several points - including as he left a speaking podium and went to the Tomb of the Unknown Solider to lay a wreath - Putin appeared to be walking with a heavy step, as if trying to disguise a limp.
And, during the parade itself, he was seen sitting with a heavy blanket across his knees despite geriatric war veterans being sat around him with their laps uncovered.

The British have the same MO for a century. Putin may have something wrong with his arm, but it’s difficult to know if it’s true because ever since Kaiser Wilhelm the Brits accuse everyone they think is a power mad dictator of having a gimp arm.
People have pointed out that straight, non-swinging right arm when he walks for years. Someone even did a photo comparison of Putin with other senior KGB and FSB officers, and they all walked with a straight, barely moving right arm. The thought several years ago was that it had to do with KGB training for quick weapon access.

That said, Putin looks swollen. Either meds or a bad heart condition it looks like.

Putin is a mortal. He's aging. He grew up in the Soviet Union so he probably did not have the best nutrition. That said, he may have another 10 years to live if disease or cancer did not get to him first. He's not a drinker so that is helping him.
My view of his appearance is he is likely on a heavy dose of steroids—possibly to counter radiation treatment for at least several months or longer.
