On Monday, Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle in Florida threw out the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s mask mandate for air travel and other forms of mass transportation. Deaths from COVID-19—and the mask mandates intended to prevent them—may be on the wane nationwide, but whatever you think about such policies, this is the latest and most egregious example of a judge acting as a partisan warrior in the COVID-19 culture wars......
Let CDC make the call based on science. And don’t handcuff public health agencies during this pandemic—and for future health emergencies that are almost certain to come.

I read the title and thought the article would point out BAD news. It was the exact opposite.

The issue, lost on libs, is not whether the CDC is right or wrong, it’s whether they have the constitutional ability to make law. No they don’t.
People who feel the need to wear a mask still can, as much as they want. But the ruling isn’t about masks anyway - it’s about who has the authority to make such demands.

Any day now I expect the CDC to announce that COVID-19 is caused by phlogiston.
Liberals love masks because they’re ugly. A mask allows them to hide and levels the playing ground.
If someone wants to wear a mask then they can still wear a mask. I bet that over half of the flying public will choose to wear one. I haven’t worn a mask in months except for when I was redoing my bathroom.
Someone a while back, in an article, talked about Biden creating some new “rule”. My response was simple: Rules are fine for government employees, but any “rule” controlling the life of citizens is called a LAW, and they are rather difficult to pass. They sure as heck can’t be created by a dictator.
The CDC cannot pass laws either. Neither can the EPA. It’s time these organizations get reigned in. If necessary via civil disobedience.
