The man merely pointed out the OBVIOUS. The site posts a Doom and Gloom article and their sponsor is Prepper Survival products. You don’t need to be a Rocket Surgeon to add 1+1 and conclude the answer is 2. The fact that you ignored this OBVIOUS relationship says far more about you than the poster you chastised.

Since I’ve been in the field, 90% of pandemic interest and funding had gone to influenza, most of it to avian flu, especially since 1997.

You do realize that those 13 million birds (poultry) were food that has now been erased from the supply chain?
You act like somebody who thinks food magically appears on grocery store shelves and doesn’t need to come from anywhere.
The point I think will be to have enough to survive while seeking other recourse’s. Of course you’d want to stock up on other things also.. especially oil and salt... dry spices. I’m also stocking up on water filters and fishing tackle.
In the end, it’s all out of our hands, but we can put up a fight and use common sense.

Do you live in one of those countries? If not you will be fine. The USA is the world’s largest exporter of food. The only consequence for us is a bunch of our farmers will get richer.
