I disagree that the base is 'splintered', rather we are capable of having different opinions about a regional conflict barely 30 days old, which might be a foreign concept to a Dem trained to parrot one-speak.

They wish we were splintered.

At best, we are split into two groups.

More hysteria from Pravda

I don’t think most of Trump’s base wants to get involved in Ukraine. It’s the RINO establishment that is all for yet another war in which America has no vital national interest. Here’s a solid tip: if Soros, Schwab, the Globalists, the Neocons, the RINO establishment, the Clintons and the Bidens are all lined up on one side, you probably don’t want to be on that side.

Saying out loud the goal of the Ukraine psy-ops here at home. Shame on you NBC.

Splintered? As in the base disagrees with Trump over something? What?

Three paragraphs in it’s something about someone from Latvia but still nothing from Trump

NBC.com should get this straight- everyone agrees that if Trump hadn’t been shoved out that they’d be enjoying life at 2.50 per gallon and Ukraine would be nothing more than a subject in their kids’ geography class. So, no they’re not splintered.

Both countries are horrible. Russia is Russia and does bad acts. Ukraine is the annex of USA’s deep state and does bad acts. Let ‘em duke it out between themselves. No need to waste our taxpayer dollars, and lives of our young people in the military, on this war that Biden stoked.

If I wrote that headline, I would have used “shattered” instead of “splintered”. It’s all a lie anyway, why not get creative.

I put my application into the deep state false narrative pool (DSFNP). Waiting to hear back.

Is this the same rally where the weather was horrible?? I suspect that has more to do with the “subdued crowd” than any “splintering of Trump’s base”.

From traffic here on FR, yeah, there are differences of opinion on how Ukraine should be handled, but not on support of Trump...

I support Trump to the hilt. I also support Ukraine against Putin. Regardless of Trump’s opinion on that subject, I still support him. The survival of our Republic rests on destroying the DemocRat Party and the globalist RINOs and their oligarch funders.

Ditto. Having differing opinions in a constituency is no indication that "his base is splintered."

Wishful thinking from the MSM.

“Bright’s sentiments reflect those of one wing of the Trump base — as well as the former president’s early praise of Putin...”

It is not necessary to read beyond that sentence.

Agreed.

In addition, the vast majority of Trump supporters know that we wouldn’t even be in this situation if not for Biden.

Basically the divide is how to deal with cleaning up Biden’s mess.

Dream on, MSM, Trump's base ISN'T splintered unless it's splintered OVER TRUMP.

The split is between the neocons, who are not part of MAGA, and Trump supporters.

But, I am still trying to figure out where Hannity and Levin fit into the equation. But, have, irresponsibly, been pushing for a war with Russia.

I think the authors are wishing that the different views on Ukraine among Trump supporters will lead to less support for Trump down the road. In that I think they are mistaken.

Until now I have not thought about Trump with regard to Ukraine and Russia other than if he were in office the current conflict would not be happening.
