The producers behind the 94th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday night have drawn fire from critics who called it “insensitive” to accompany two black presenters as they took the stage at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles with Toto’s “Africa.”
Toto’s “Africa” played as British actor Daniel Kaluuya and singer H.E.R., both of whom claimed Oscars in 2021, strolled into the spotlights to present best supporting actress.
Some argued the 1982 song was a less than stellar choice to introduce two black presenters, the Hollywood Reporter pointed out and others agreed on social media.

Why? These people wear their supposed African heritage on their sleeves and rub it in non black peoples faces as often as possible.
They are also perpetually offended and apparently have a grievance with every other race on the planet.

What, like there aren’t any whites in Africa?
They’re going to play the race card until the United States surrenders to the dreams of the World Economic Forum.

I was thinking “Jungle Boogie”
They only did it because of the color of their skin, which is the definition of racism.
“Jungle Boogie” works, although the more prehistoric Bertha Butt Boogle by the Jimmy Castor Bunch came to mind. Finally, “The Witch Doctor Song” (oo-ee-oo-ah-ah) struck me. Lots of choices.
Stories like this convince me that a nuclear war which wipes out 90% of humanity might not be a bad thing. The survivors will either re-learn/get a grip on that which matters in life, or they’ll be darwined out of existence fairly quickly.

According to Calypso Louie, whitey stole all the knowledge for all of today’s tech from the African negroes 500 years ago, then dumbed down the population by enslaving all of the geniuses and putting them on ships to America. That’s why African nations are 3rd world countries today.
I’m surprised that there’s all this fuss about some tv show that hardly anyone watched. The whole movie industry is totally disgusting. Who gives a rat’s ass as to which black actor slapped which black comedian who cracked a joke about a black actress of whom I have never heard before.
Much a fuss about absolutely nothing, but it’s on all the talk shows and news shows.
I can’t keep up with this outrage anymore.
As far as I know every single person on the shows production crew last night was black…
