A Fox 11 reporter says people are forced to make the choice between putting food on the table or gas in their car.
With gas prices rising rapidly across the country, all Americans are grappling with the consequences with some in California paying as high as $7 per gallon.
Local journalists have been talking to citizens to see how it’s affecting daily lives.

Rush: “IT’S ALPO TIME!”
Hey, the admin mouthpieces have said the way out of this is buying $50kb electric cars and reducing our dependence on fossil fuels.
Get skinny, peasants. Then, the Biden regime will take credit for ending obesity in America.
Dad just explained to me we’re reliving the Carter years and told me what went on then, said the same thing is happening today only worse.
Food or Fuel? < Shows we need to approve more voter fraud.
Except dog food is expensive.
Biden has decided to lower gas prices by creating a depression.

“Dad just explained to me we’re reliving the Carter years and told me what went on then, said the same thing is happening today only worse.”
I lived through those years. It was one of the reasons I went into the Navy. And your dad is right this is worse. Carter had disdain for Americans, but I don’t think he really hated America or Americans. Biden is a clueless, corrupt old pervert, and isn’t making any decisions. The people running Biden seem to hate America and are doing all they can to bring about our demise.
One of the major differences is jobs were scarce under Cater. People wanted to work, but couldn’t find jobs other than low paying food service type jobs. Now, people don’t want to work, and if they do, they want serious money. A family member, 15 year old girl, got her first job, $12/hr! And she seems a little put off that the pay rate is so low.
This is Carter with an attitude.
I remember those miserable Carter years and his 21% inflation rates.
I also remember a few years later the Union Rep for us was trying to blame it on Reagan. Liar.
The bizarre, irrational dismantling of the fossil fuel industry has a far greater effect than “high gas prices”. The high price, demand and scarcity of natural gas is not only driving up the cost of fertilizer but is making it scarce. Already farmers in North and South America have predicted lower crop yields related to fertilizer problems. also the increased expense , lack of access and inadequacies of energy supplies will impair greatly worldwide economic output and cause serious inflation. while it is unlikely anyone in America will actually starve, many people worldwide will not have access to food solely do to price. If India and/or China have for whatever reason have poor harvests, then famines are inevitable especially in the third world. Often the talking heads on TV solemnly proclaim that “we are now at war.” When the full effect of the assault on the fossil fuel industry takes effect, there will be social, economic and political disorder. Then, as history teaches, real and terrible war will be apparent to all.
Like in the ‘70s, it’s the working poor who suffer the most. Certainly seems like the Demoncrats WANT to drive them onto welfare.
Ain't that the truth...if you can even get particular brands.
Based on a recipe offered by a fellow Freeper...I've started making dogfood for our little guy. Chicken, rice, veggies, some other good stuff...he loves it. And just not that bigga difference in price as long as I can get chicken at Sam's Club for a reasonable price.
We wouldn't hesitate to eat this dogfood.
They want you to waste money buying an EV so you can’t afford to charge ,LOL
You can guarantee Biden eats well and has no trouble getting gas
Winwin! Fewer Cars, more walking; less food, more intermittent fasting, less obesity, less cancer! Another Biden promise kept! [/sarc]

All they need to know.
Choose food. And then remember what it was like to have fuel on election day.
In most states, one cannot be on a payroll until age 16.
