By Emma Simpson Business correspondent, BBC News
The boss of one of the world's biggest fertiliser companies has said the war in Ukraine will deliver a shock to the global supply and cost of food.
Yara International, which operates in more than 60 countries, buys considerable amounts of essential raw materials from Russia.
Fertiliser prices were already high due to soaring wholesale gas prices.

Just let it end. Zelinskyy is tell his countrymen to die on a lost cause, meanwhile we’re getting closer to WWIII.
What about the children?
“Maybe we can quit using corn for fuel? Manure is still used. Just not enough to go around.”

"I gave you oil and gas to burn and corn to eat".
"Why are you burning your food"?
Where’s the power in that?
Transport it to farming areas and compost it there.
Better yet, one thing Chairman Mao understood was that the elite in the education system were a problem.
He had them hauling night soil (human crap) by hand from the cities and towns to farms, encouraged at the point of an SKS.
I can.
Is your issue with calcium plaques or soft plaques?
America can grow its own food.
Wouldn’t doubt it.
Have no idea and can’t afford to find out.
