They can freeze them in mere moments but will have to wait until late summer to unfreeze them.
I'd leave the barest minimum if I needed local bank transactions. Deposit an amount needed for a local bill payment, pay the bill out of it, and leave the minimum behind. The "bank" in essence becomes a transaction processor.
Real banking to be done somewhere else.
Hubby made a small vault for my parents years ago. He put it in the slab. Totally hidden. I wamt one now. I don’t even trust my safety deposit vault.
Do it like the Clinton Foundation and all these shell foundations set up by educational institutions; overseas "charity" to save mother gaia or some other nonsense. Put it all in your 92 year-old grandmother's name.

You NEVER undermine the belief of bank depositors they can withdraw their money ANYTIME they desire.
Even depositors in Canada who have NO ROLE in the trucker convoy don’t want to be the last person at the withdrawal window in a panic.
Trudeau and his minions were fools to threaten to freeze accounts and stop withdrawals.
They may have destroyed the Canadian financial system.
Fear works great to cause a stampede. The morons in charge have started a withdrawal stampede as they successfully did with the COVID stampede.
There is surely a withdrawal panic and stampede though the government will NEVER let the media report it.
That occurred to me a couple of days ago. I chuckled at the thought. :)
