#OHSEN: Gibbons releases campaign internal showing him with a commanding lead:
Gibbons 23
Mandel 11
Vance 9
Timken 8
Dolan 6
Second Ohio poll — the other was an independent survey — showing him up.
Pollster said he’s leading with both Trump Rs and “traditional Republicans”

Can he win in November? That’s all that matters.
He’s a businessman/outsider. I think this will appeal? Who knows.
Also he’s quite an experienced candidate having ran for office before.
Plus, he’s got $ which helps.
Rand Paul endorsed him and is actually going to campaign for him in Ohio soon I believe.
That says a lot...
Internal polls that get released are worth as much as the internals a fat guy releases in a Denny’s bathroom.
Yes...so excited!
The tweet says there was an independent one showing him up as well
A monkey could win in Ohio in November with Biden in the White House.
Minus Sherrod Brown running in years favorable to Democrats, Republicans have won every statewide race in the last decade in Ohio.
What matters is whether he is the most conservative candidate and doesn't have any glaring liability that could cost him in the general election.
Mandel and Timken have skeletons in their closets.
Then we have DeWine that needs to go too. I wonder if he is leading yet. Blystone has been out there for a good year now, hope he is picking up steam.
I'd love to see him defeated in the primary.
I'd like to see one challenger emerge so the opposition to him won't be fragmented.
Folks in Ohio need to vote Jim Renacci for Governor over the pissant RINO tinpot dicktator Mike DeWine and for Mike Gibbons for U.S. Senate in the GOP primary.
I haven't made an endorsement in this race, aside from being "anyone but J.D. Vance" at this point.
There’s a a third dude in the GOV primary messing it up. Joe Blystone.
“A poll of 1,066 likely GOP primary voters conducted Feb. 1-4 by the Trafalgar Group found 40.9% would vote for DeWine, while 22.8% and 20.2% would vote for challengers Jim Renacci and Joe Blystone, respectively.
The remaining 16.1%, per the conservative-leaning pollster’s survey, are still undecided or do not plan to vote.”
LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least one person on this thread is for Bystone, I hadn’t heard of him.
There needs to be only 1 challenger or DeWino will win.
Josh Mandel has corruption problems, apparently (not proven) cheated on his wife and apparently used campaign money to do so.
All that said, sigh, if I was still in OH he would be my choice. He “appears” to be policywise more pro-Trump than Vance. Vance was very anti-Trump til it came time to run, and I don’t trust him. Better a guy corrupted by sex than one corrupted by ego, I guess. The latter we call Minion Romney.
GTW, Robert Cahaly on Twit (Trafalgar Polling) said yesterday that all OH polls that were out there were bogus, really bad, and that he would be publishing one. Sounded like today or Monday.
I suspect-—no “pwoof”-—that Mandel is ahead, Gibbons and Vance are well back.
Why do you want Gibbons? Pretty establishment guy.
If he’s so establishment, why is Rand Paul endorsing him ? The other candidates are either major-league RINOs (Timken), phonies (Vance) or seriously damaged goods (Mandel, the candidate I once supported). Gibbons is the least damaged and most credible (unless you have information to the contrary).
Why in the world is MTG endorsing Vance, I just don’t get it!!!
Some good endorsements, some bad. She endorsed a California carpetbagger named “Robby Starbuck” in my district, TN-5. Unfortunately, President Trump endorsed a lady carpetbagger with RINO credentials who doesn’t even live in the new district and only just registered to vote (Morgan Orgatus). Both should’ve done a bit more research first.
