Former President George W. Bush gave the maximum allowed political contributions to Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney and Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, two Republicans who supported impeaching former President Donald Trump over the January 6 Capitol riot.
New disclosures filed with the Federal Election Commission said Bush gave Cheney $5,800 on October 28 for both the general and primary elections. On December 31, he also gave Murkowski $2,900 for her primary. The FEC sets limits on political contributions.
Cheney, the daughter of Bush's own vice president, Dick Cheney, and an outspoken Trump critic, now serves as the lead Republican on the House Select Committee investigating January 6. She's set to face off against Harriet Hageman, a former RNC official who has been endorsed by Trump, in an August primary. Cheney has outraised Hageman by more than four to one — $2 million for Cheney versus $440,00 for Hageman — FEC disclosures showed.
In Alaska, Murkowski faces Kelly Tshibaka, a former commissioner of the Alaska Department of Administration. Given her relatively moderate voting record, Murkowski has long been vulnerable to primary challenges, and she waged a successful write-in campaign in 2010 after losing that year's Republican primary.

Thank you.
I didn’t know that.
The last seven years has been quite an education for us.
is ANYONE surprised by this?
My point was that no matter how much of a RINO you are, the Dems are always going to attack you and call you Hitler. Thinking you’re making friends with them and they’ll see how “reasonable” you are is a ridiculous waste of time.
Yes, its sort of like having a poisonous snake as a friend.
Scumbag Bushes - bump for later...
First time I’ve seen it. Should have been posted ten times.
You don’t see a problem with Bush giving $10.00 to that trash?
I don’t think he did, but there were others who should have
tuned into what was going on.
Our intelligence agencies really screwed the pooch on this one.
Foreign nationals learning how to fly airliners, but not
really being interested in being able to land. No, no red
flag there... /s
We had discussed airliners being used as weapons of war.
It wasn’t a topic nobody had contemplated.
They shouldn’t have been here in the first place.
I don’t remember the exact numbers these days, but there
were something like 15,000 Saudi Nationals here on education
VISAs at the time of 09/11. Bush soon had it up to 30,000
in subsequent years.
It may be a little unfair to say he did it, but he spoke
out in favor of it. He wanted them here. Why?
We do the best we can expecting others to do the same.
It lets everyone down when a Bush comes along. All that
opportunity to do good, and he couldn’t even give a damn
about our border.
Rapes of adults and children, murders, countless other lower
crimes,... Bush didn’t give a damn.
Cheap labor and increased pressure on our election due
process.
No problem for GW.
Education numbers in his state were waning. Naturally the
education department blamed it on lack of funds. So Bush
fixed it by giving them $30 billion dollars.
It’s never the money. We spend more per capita per child
than any other nation (I believe), and yet we get no
benefit, at least our kids don’t seem to.
That right there told me what kind of man he was. He was
a closet Leftist. That’s how they fix everything. Just
toss billions more into the garbage disposal.
How come home schooled kids are so brilliant? They don’t
spend $20k per kid to educate them.
We put in new fixes and about every five years they fail.
Then we consult with the idiots that came up with the last
fixes and let them devise a new set of plans that will be
deemed a failure in five more years.
We never seem to realize that these meat-heads don’t have
a clue, time after time.
Why do we let them devise the new fixes every time?
It’s the old adage again. Doing the same thing and
expecting a different outcome. Well, I don’t. I know
each time it’s just smoke and mirrors, and the public
buys off on it every time.
Good old George. Did he ever hold a job his daddy didn’t
get for him?
My my my the does have great fear of Trump returning and all the China kickbacks ending again and other scams.
The biggest whore house in D.C. sees profit drop.

Fox News Radio ^ | September 08, 2014 | (Alan Colmes Show)
Monday on “The Alan Colmes Show,” Alan spoke with former Congressman and Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich about what President Obama should do about ISIS, and had some harsh criticism for President Barack Obama and the Bush Administration regarding policy in Iraq. Rep. Kucinich, who is also a Fox News contributor, said the US should not be a policeman for the world and let Syria handle ISIS, and said that President Barack Obama was not as anti-war as he is portrayed. He also said President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney should “absolutely” be in jail for their role.
