Former President George W. Bush gave the maximum allowed political contributions to Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney and Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, two Republicans who supported impeaching former President Donald Trump over the January 6 Capitol riot.
New disclosures filed with the Federal Election Commission said Bush gave Cheney $5,800 on October 28 for both the general and primary elections. On December 31, he also gave Murkowski $2,900 for her primary. The FEC sets limits on political contributions.
Cheney, the daughter of Bush's own vice president, Dick Cheney, and an outspoken Trump critic, now serves as the lead Republican on the House Select Committee investigating January 6. She's set to face off against Harriet Hageman, a former RNC official who has been endorsed by Trump, in an August primary. Cheney has outraised Hageman by more than four to one — $2 million for Cheney versus $440,00 for Hageman — FEC disclosures showed.
In Alaska, Murkowski faces Kelly Tshibaka, a former commissioner of the Alaska Department of Administration. Given her relatively moderate voting record, Murkowski has long been vulnerable to primary challenges, and she waged a successful write-in campaign in 2010 after losing that year's Republican primary.

That act sponsored by a certain child molesting creep they keep on ice in the white hospice basement, need I remind you.
As do I.
George Bush was the BEST we had at one time.
How freakin’, wicked SAD IS THAT.
The Bush family is evil. Period.
I truly wonder if GWB knew about the 9-11 attacks in advance considering that dumbfounded look on his face and quickly allowing the arab muzzoids to leave the US despite the lockdown.
When Bush Sr. quit the NRA I became a life member.
ANOTHER RINO SHOWS HIS MONKEY ASS TO ALL THE WORLD! Thank you SO much....I USED to respect you.....UGH!
Donald Trump starts his new website, in 3 weeks.
(I think)
Actually 20 days, perhaps. :)
That needs to be on a t shirt and bill boards.
Lesser of the two evils.
Evil is still evil.
LOL- In yesterday’s mail I actually received a Murkowski fundraising solicitation. Wow… did she ever have a wrong number.
The thing that is so weird, in retrospect, is that the Dems hated and persecuted Bush as much as they did Trump. Remember Bush=Hitler, Bush being hanged in effigy, their massive disruption of the first months of his presidencies, their refusal to accept the elections, etc?
Bush is really a first class RINO, always “reaching across the aisle,” as he put it. At which point they would bite his hand off. But he never learned. RINOs never do.
I shook his hand in 2006.
He signed my name tag.
I threw it away when he bashed Trump and voted for Hillary.
I hate back stabbers.
He was a coward.
If a man cannot stand up for himself, how can he stand up for you.
The 9th circle of hell is the hottest.
That is where traders go.
Bush comes from a group that considers itself “elite” and will look down on the working classes except at Election time. He is not “elite” in any sense of the true word - he is of mediocre intellect, couldn’t accomplish much of anything without the family money and influence, never served in combat, is a lousy speaker, has no particular talents for much of anything. But he considers his background - expensive private school, Yale at the behest of his old man - elite, and I guarantee he looks down on you and I while considering the leftists to aspire for. Example - if you work with Ivy Leaguers and go to a group dinner, oftentimes they will make a joke which has no basis in humor. They will do it to see if you laugh uproariously, along with them. The “joke” is really that they have got you to laugh at something which is not funny in the slightest and they are really laughing at You for being the idiot. The Bush family is like this - a gathering of total mediocrities laughing at us based on family wealth and privilege.
I voted for Keyes in the 2000 primary, but I was on board once Bush had won.
Sometimes, I'll hear songs from the early 2000s and I'll remember how happy I was that it was Bush leading us through those times. Now all I can do is shake my head at how delusional I was.
I worked hard for this chump twice. Now I know who the real chump was…
Never again.
Meh, his legacy was his last year in office, which rendered him “cringe worthy” at best. At least I don’t have to listen to him try to speak, his mangled, random slaughter of the English language sent me into shivers.
Los Arbustos chupan! The Bushes suck!
Same. This guy is going to down in history as one of the people most directly responsible for ruining the country. Screw him.
