Texas nurse shares how hospital stopped using hydroxychloroquine, threatened docs writing jab exemptions

A former frontline COVID nurse shared her eyewitness experiences with vaccine adverse reactions and early treatments at the hospital that fired her for rejecting the jab.

2 Mon Jan 31, 2022 - 11:34 am EST (LifeSiteNews) — A frontline COVID nurse fired by Houston Methodist Hospital for refusing to take the COVID-19 jab told Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) that she saw people come in with adverse reactions to the shots.

Jennifer Bridges also told Sen. Johnson during his January 24 panel on COVID-19, vaccines and early treatments that Houston Methodist used hydroxychloroquine early on during the outbreak of the virus. Bridges unsuccessfully sued the hospital to stop its COVID jab mandate.

An archived COVID treatment protocol from Houston Methodist confirms the hospital prescribed the drug for use for infected patients.

“We saw for ourselves, in the hospital, people coming in with adverse reactions after getting the Pfizer shot,” Bridges said. She said her fellow healthcare workers did not want to be “guinea pigs.”

Bridges, who worked on the frontlines since the beginning of the COVID outbreak, said the hospital used HCQ for two months until the hospital switched to remdesivir, a drug of questionable safety but favored by Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Bridges, who said she now works as a nurse elsewhere, said many doctors at the hospital would not personally assess clients but relied on nurses like her to see patients directly.

Hospital administrators threatened Bridges over her petition against the COVID shots, she said. “100% compliance [with the jab mandate],” an administrator told Bridges, “was more important than [her] individual autonomy as a nurse.”

“That is a huge slap in a face,” Bridges said.

Hospital intimidated doctors for writing exemptions, reporting adverse reactions

Bridges alleged that Houston Methodist administrators intimidated doctors who wrote medical exemptions for COVID shots.

“I’ve seen text messages, I’ve seen emails, where Methodist Hospital threatened their doctors. ‘You cannot sign medical exemptions, you cannot talk about it, you cannot report adverse reactions to these vaccines,’” Bridges said.

“And then if you do, if someone was actually brave enough to do that [in] writing,” Bridges said, an administrator would find a way to undo or delete the reports (either the exemptions or reactions).

“Our healthcare system suffers because you’re not in it anymore,” Sen. Johnson told Bridges.

Sen. Johnson and Bridges said lives could have been saved with early treatment and adverse jab reactions could have been avoided.

“The inhumanity, the cruelty, just the heartbreaking examples of what happened with COVID,” Johnson said, could have been avoided if the healthcare system embraced early treatment.

“Can you imagine what our society would look like, had we treated that way?” Johnson said.

“There would be so many more people alive today and not dead,” Bridges said.

“And we maybe wouldn’t have a million adverse events, maybe 22,000 deaths, we really cannot tell,” the Republican senator said.

He referenced updated statistics from the U.S. government’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting system which had over 850,000 injuries from COVID jabs as of the end of October 2021.

Maybe lot of brave doctors and nurses should do a class action lawsuit regarding ivermectin use early on and the push to stop using it even though it shows many patients survived.

Hanging is too kind

I am thinking burning at the stake or dragged behind a Trophy truck through the desert

should also include the justice department and FBI for being complicit and looking the other way

Everyone is a chump for their paycheck. Thats because everyone is a debt-slave. You rely on the income to pay your loans and feel you have no recourse.

The only real recourse is to do everything possible to be debt-free. Then you can make decisions based on principle.

That said, this issue is going to continue as long as the government has bounties in place for covid diagnosis, in-patient treatment for such, pfizer jabs for such, and deaths from such. Bounties such as these should be utterly illegal, yet here we are, bounties in place and driving business and health decisions instead of good patient relationships based on trust.

I can tell you, I no longer trust my doctor even though I have been going to him for 20 years. I will not place my care back into his hands, nor any physician practice affiliated with the cleveland clinic.

Kaiser Permanente did the same thing in California and my GP is retiring early because she can’t stomach being forced to give shots to people who are at a huge risk of death from the shots.

We’ve been debt free for fourteen years. Best damned thing we ever did was to stop paying interest to the banks.

There is no downside for using HCQ, and it might help - so why did they ‘ban’ it?????

There is absolutely no reason for it. Doctors have had digression to prescribe anything they think could work. I recently read where one doctor prescribed Viagra to treat the effects of COVID (and it worked)

Doctors are the front line of medicine. They are the ones who find and report things. They are the highest educated.

There is no reason for bureaucrats to second-guess them... especially ones that have a financial interest in government decisions.

Their lawsuit would likely be thrown out for lack of standing. The real party in interest would need to appear as plaintiff. Meaning, the injured patient, or his or her next of kin if dead.

“until the hospital switched to remdesivir, a drug of questionable safety but favored by Dr. Anthony Fauci.”

****

I created a thread around 3 weeks back about our employee who was hospitalized, and she was coughing blood AFTER the idiot doctor gave her Remdesvir. We were there as she’s canadian and had no relatives here in L.A. Gawd, I hated arguing NOT to give her Remdesvir and the clown kept harping the company line “Not approved by the FDA”. At a certain big hospital in Sylmar.

The Houston Methodist (HM) organization was the first major healthcare group in my area to mandate all employees be vaccinated for COVID-19 or face termination. The atrocious behavior of HM administrators in suspending Dr. Mary Bowden for supporting patients that requested Ivermectin for outpatient treatment of COVID-19 is just another example of the behavior of this organization that is motivated by rapacious greed over the well-being of patients.

There is a large Houston Methodist Hospital close to my home in Houston. NO WAY will I ever agree to be admitted to any HM hospital in the future. My notarized Physician Directive stipulates that United Memorial Medical Center (UMMC) in Houston will be the admitting hospital for my care. UMMC and their attending physicians are authorized and encouraged to use their best judgement in the treatment for COVID-19 which can include the full MATH+ Hospital Treatment Protocol for COVID-19 developed by the group of physicians of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC).

Of course, I’m doing everything I can to avoid hospitalization for COVID-19. I follow the FLCCC prevention protocol which includes a weekly dose of Ivermectin and immune fortifying daily supplements. Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is also on hand. FLCCC recently added HCQ to their protocols due to evidence it offers some advantages in the early treatment of the Omicron variant.

I contacted an independent Primary Care Physician in my area that supports the FLCCC protocol for early outpatient treatment for COVID-19. My former PCP is associated with the Houston Methodist Hospital system. I no longer trust him for my healthcare needs.
