Newt Gingrich: Biden 'Just Doesn't Get It' on Passing Things in Congress

The push for more divisive politics and talk of taking down of the filibuster show President Joe Biden is "just that out of touch with reality" and politics, according to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Biden "just doesn't get it" and he "didn't do himself or the country any favors," Gingrich told Sunday's "The Cats Roundtable" on WABC 770 AM-N.Y., adding Biden needs to pivot to bringing the left and right together as Gingrich said he and former President Bill Clinton did in the 1990s.

"Clinton and I were pretty good at beating each other up, but we both understood the business of politics," Gingrich told host John Catsimatidis. "We were equally good at sitting in a room and working out welfare reform or tax cuts."

Newt is still represents the intellectual wing of the party. He can express opinions that make one use their brain. The democrat voter doesn’t get enough exposure to it. We haven’t been giving it to them either.

Once Clinton was impeached, he was captive of the far left. You would never get welfare reform by these Democrats and voting reform is all about voting theft, not insuring the integrity.

Newt says Joe “doesn’t get it”.

Joe isn’t there.

Maybe Newt doesn’t get it.

Pretty damning considering he has spent nearly 2/3 of his entire life in office in Washington.

Newt represents the Bush League.

When he was a backbencher he cared about the illegal alien inundation, which is THE existential threat to the US.

When he got into leadership he forgot all about it.

It is a prerequisite for leadership in the GOP to be committed to Making America North Mexico on the way to the New World Order.

I’m no fan of Newt Gingrich but that’s really not true.

Bill Clinton signed most of Newt’s “Contract with America” into law. I’ll bet you couldn’t even get an establishment REPUBLICAN to do that today.

Slow Joe (or his handlers) see him as the new FDR without the need to even talk to the Republicans. Fortunately he doesn't have overwhelming congressional power.

FDR (73rd Congress) : Senate 58 D (+1 Farmer-Labor), 36 R, 1 vancant; House 311 D (+5 Farmer-Labor), 117 R. The Republicans eventually were down to 16 senators and 89 representatives in the next Congress.

Biden (117th Congress) : Senate 48 D (+2 I), 50 R; House 222 D, 211 R.

Newt represents the Bush League.

I do not recall anything in the Contract With America about securing the border.

Glaringly absent in my eyes in retrospect.
I didn’t realize how rotten the Bushes were until W said, “See you at the signing” about the amnesty bill.

Daddy Bush knew we would never vote to give away our country so he imported people who would.
The New World Order that Daddy Bush wanted is their goal.
The leadership of the GOP is fully committed to it.

Newt destroyed himself by having his affair with Callista while impeaching Clinton for lying about his affair. That sort of thing doesn’t play well.

The only thing that the corrupt Congress understands is the following imo.

Post-17th Amendment ratification career lawmakers protect their voting records so they can get reelected. The major constitutional problem is that they protect their records by letting last term people like Obama get away with making unpopular, constitutionally indefensible executive orders (EOs) imo.

More specifically, such EOs are not only based on stolen state powers imo, but also spend unaccountable state revenues stolen from the states by means of unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that the elite, alleged election-stealing Democratic pirates running Congress cannot reasonably justify under Congress's constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

Corrections, insights welcome.

The ultimate remedy for unconstitutionally big, alleged election-stealing, Democratic Party-pirated federal and state governments, allegedly manufacturing crises to oppress everybody under their boots...

Consider that the states effectively have "veto power" over continued unpopular, unconstitutional actions of the feds.

More specifically, all the states can effectively “secede” from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing the following.

Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.

Federal and state lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that proposes an amendment to the Constitution to the states, the amendment limited to repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments (16&17A), little or no discussion required imo.

In fact, I challenge the states to ram the repeal amendment for 16&17A through the ratification process faster than Nancy Pelosi irresponsibly rammed unconstitutional Obamacare through the House. /semi-sarc

Again, insights welcome.

“I’m not sure in Biden’s case that he even realizes he’s lying. I think that he changes the world in his head to fit what it needs to be.”

Good insight. Biden is detached mfrom reality.

Truly.
