Oddly enough, this is true but badly outdated, obsolete information. Handgun drum magazines were a thing, briefly, during WWI. Mostly related to the long-barreled "Artillery" Luger (which was more like a carbine anyway, now that I think about it).
The only “weapon of war” I’ve ever head of with a 50-rd magazine was the FN P90, and that’s a “personal defense weapon,” not an offensive weapon.
Beyond that, I’ve never seen nor heard of an offensive infantry weapon with magazines larger than 40 rounds (AK family), and most are only 30.
So the author is a nitwit (but you knew that already, didn’t you?).
They’re New Yorkers. They loath and fear the freedom that goes with gun ownership. They hate and envy those of us who don’t lose bladder control at the sight of a gun. They do everything they can to lower us to their level.
The amount of naive doofus Commies amazes me.
But But But.....there was a law against such magazines in New York.
Didn’t the gunman who committed murder know that such magazines were illegal? Somebody should have told him his mag was against the law. I’m sure that would have prevented any issues.
Re-outlaw them!!!
Why were the police even there? They need defunded and this would not have happened if we would just refund them already
My worry exactly, Legend.
“Spray & pray” loses to Point Fire every time, and wastes lots of ammo (and bystanders) in the process. But then, I don’t think your average ‘hood rat spends much time at the range.
