It’s one of those “black” guns and with a super-duty, gigantic magazine...oh, the horror, the horror of it all!!! I can’t stand to look at it...it might bite me!!! Horrible, horrible thing...it’s just too much.

Drums are not reliable. The extended ones seem to work. Bangers aren’t as concerned about “printing” as legit carriers.

Or maybe people who want to protect themselves from the mobs the Left have empowered. That’s not what happened in this instance, but the need for capacity has grown over the past few decades. Carrying a drum would be awkward but I could see someone having that in their vehicle in an urban hellhole.

That’s right. If you were tossed into battle with a 30 or 40 round magazine, all loaded up, you’d have everything you need to fight.

Even getting one of those contraptions in your waistband would be a challenge, I would think. Plus the weight of 40 extra rounds above the belt. Different story in a car. Or hotel room, as in another recent case. The whole “weapon of war” argument is just silly.
