Why are Caucasians Vanisihing in TV Commercials?

Commercials take up 27% of commercial television screen time and are the main source of income for TV and radio stations. In most cases, advertisements on all channels appear simultaneously, so don't try to change the channel, there will be commercials elsewhere, too. Nowadays they have also taken over the Internet. For a financial support, websites have to run ads on their pages, the largest share supplied and controlled by Google. Ads pry into your eyes, unceremoniously interfere with text, and on YouTube, in the most inappropriate places they cut into the action of films, lectures and concerts, tearing apart musical performances. There's no escaping commercials, we've grown accustomed to them, and they become almost as much a part of our lives as food, toilets, and sleep.

In the United States today, the White population (not including Hispanics) is 57.8%. In real life Caucasians are still in the majority, but now on TV and the Internet they are swept under the rug like trash. Blacks compose 14% of the U.S. population but appear in 50% of commercials. White actors now appear for promotion of health insurance, gold, loans and some medicines. Moreover, if a White person appears in a commercial, he/she is usually old, sick, a freak, or at the very least, an appendage to a Black partner. If there's a doctor on the screen, he's usually Black, while the patient is usually White. Caucasian young men appear in only 4% of the commercials! If some aliens began to study the population of Planet Earth through our TV commercials they would have a somewhat distorted picture of Americans, to put it mildly.

So why do advertisers ignore the long-standing rules of marketing, and to the detriment of their own financial interests,

A few years back I got to talk,at length,to a middle aged German guy. He was a physician and we talked,at length,about the fall of the Berlin Wall. He was young at the time but he remembered that East Germans were amazed by how readily available bananas were in West Germany.

If one wants to see the best laboratories in which to compare capitalism vs communism they can look at Germany and Korea.

are we allowed to discuss this on FR?? Some scold isn’t going to call you a racist for bringing it up?
I saw a commercial for an athletic drink on tv, all the “athletes” were minorities. I actually thought the commercial was for a minority based product until the end.
White folk don’t run, swim, or lift weights anymore, I guess.

Honestly, that guy goes on my nerves. I refuse to watch his commercials. He is so boring It's pathetic. He can shove his pillows and everything else up his hind end.

Pearl Milling Company dumped the Aunt Jemima name I guess because it was bad to use a black person’s image to sell pancakes. So the first commercial I see for Pearl Milling Company shows an entire black family eating pancakes.

I don’t watch tv much anymore either. Advertisements have always been propaganda - to get you to buy, try, do something that you would not have done before. We accepted it, even if annoying at times when it interrupts your favorite program or movie. When I see commercials like this with it’s obvious racial propaganda content, it turns me off and I just totally tune out. In fact, it offends sometimes. Not a good idea to offend the target audience.

We noticed this right after the George Floyd fiasco

We record virtually everything and if we see an affirmative action host we skip the program We skip through the commercials as a matter of practice

It’s gotten beyond ridiculous especially when we noticed that Jake from State Farm turned into watermelon man

We canceled cable in 2016, so I don’t see much of this, but I hear and see about it on the internet, when I don’t have the Brave Browser on which blocks ads, but even they are turning Woke on the front page. It’s sickening, and I’m tired of it.

I was going to watch a shark movie, and then I saw the dad was White and the step mom was a heavy, black, woman with long dreds, Just leave me alone. Leave us alone.

Often wondered what international tourist would think about America when they went to such a mall

The most laughable trait to me, and someone already mentioned it earlier, is that black families in commercials are always shown as fully functional and normal upper middle class, with BOTH parents.

One of our BIG NAME local department stores has ALL black manequins...in an area where 90% of their buyers are white. Make sense?? Didn't think so. BUT...This whitey will no longer shop there.

Nothing you see on tv is real. However, consider the large numbers of blacks in positions of power in many of our large population centers. That’s real.

chuckled at the screen name!! I just got done watching all 4 seasons! I was truly entertained/impressed how they switched roles per se in the production. Danny was a spaz and Johnny was the one with the cool head, but suffered from bad luck hard knocks syndrome!! lol

The series did show me something about Johnny!! He is, a damned good actor IMO... he did good in the show! BUT!! the fighting scenes in season 4 definitely lacked compared to the previous seasons!

Build Back Blacker. The Biden Administration is behind it. Biden talked about it a number of times during and after the campaign. He praised the fact that there were more interracial couples on commercials. Part of the propaganda war to weaken white influence in the culture.

Thanks to mass immigration, non-Hispanic whites will be 50% of the population by 2043 down from 90% in 1970.

All these commercials were created by ad agencies. They all popped up at the same time, it obviously was coordinated.

Someone with a lot of control over many agencies put the word out to change the color of actors. I wonder who that was.

It is blatant propaganda to make the public beleive minorities (especially blacks) are a far greater share of the population than they are. Sometimes while watching TV I say to my myself “Am I living in Uganda?”, that’s how absurd it has become.

I have said it before and say it again, college experience is different for different races. That being said, I take no chances on the doctor I go to. If it is a surgeon, I look for a prestigous institution with a track record; general practioners I shy away fromt he 50 per-centers in the commercials.

About 30 percent of todays black population are middle class. If you want to find a nonracist black population go to a military base and find the mid-grade soldiers.

Equality if borne of experience and fair treatment.
