Two Maryland hospitals declared a healthcare “disaster” on Friday as COVID-19 cases continue to rise at the Old Line State facilities.
The University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health system made the “disaster” announcements for the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air and the Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, according to The Washington Post.

I’m not seeing or hearing about anyone dying in the streets.
They’ve fired many staff who aren’t going along with their medical fascism.

Long thread of comments, half are saying the local hospital is overflowing and shipping people to other places
Other half are people who have actually been there and say it’s nowhere near at capacity

Easton is one of the few normal towns in Maryland. We recently moved to PA because PG County sucks.

Yeah, the hospitals are almost in my neighborhood.
PG county has sucked for a long time. I grew up in “rural” Montgomery County in the 60’s. It was nice then.
